If you're able, please PM me all the info on the Expo (i.e. costs, addresses, dates, etc.) I'll be down in Saint Petersburg all Summer and would like to at least try to get over there, if I'm able. Just need all the info to see if I can fit it into my Summer plans. Thanks!!

DATE CHANGE:

Just met with Holiday Inn people.
It seems that during the month of AUGUST they are going to REMODEL both Meeting Rooms. They have been trying for 2 years.

The NEW DATE
is
JULY 28TH AND 29TH

Everything else remains the same.

Sorry if this causes anyone any problems.
Man this just causes me a longer day.

I should have the NEW 800 number for Holiday Inn reservations this coming Monday May 21st.

Heading back for more meetings this afternoon.

HERE IS THE LATEST UPDATE:
The final contracts have been signed today.
Everything is a GO.
In the Large Meeting room there is a AIR PARTITION that will be used to separate the Display room from the Guest Speaking area. The Air Partition will prevent sound from going from the Guest speakers to the floor of the display room and Visa Versa . The Speakers room has a different light control and is totally indenpendent.
Security was finalized today.
Here is what was agreed on:
The display room will be opened FRIDAY NIGHT from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm to allow for those with a display to bring their items for set up.
The Display room will open at 6:00am Sat morning for setting up.
The Doors for the Public will open at 9:00am and close at 7:00 pm on Sat. the 28th.
The Doors will open to the public at 9:00 am Sun the 29th and close at 4:00 pm.
When the Doors close Sat the 28th at 7:00 pm you will have ONE HOUR to vacate the room then the doors will be closed and locked until the next morning.
NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE DISPLAY ROOM AFTER 11:00 PM THE 27TH AND NOT UNTIL 6;00 AM THE NEXT MORNING.
THE SAME RULE WILL APPLY FOR THE 28TH. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE DISPLAY ROOM UNTILL 6:00 AM AND NOONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE DISPLAY ROOM AFTER 8:00PM.
THE SAME RULE GOES FOR ENTERING THE DISPLAY ROOM ON THE 29TH-6:00AM.
THERE WILL BE HELP AVAILABLE FOR THOSE THAT REQUIRE HELP & TIPPING IS ALLOWED.

There will be a SIGN UP table available for those with a DISPLAY.

NOW TO THE BEST PART:
THERE IS A NEW SPECIAL LOGO DESIGNED FOR THIS EXPO.
Now for the BAD news. If there are enough orders to cover the cost then there will be T-SHIRTS available and if NOT there will be no T-SHIRTS.

The Treasure Hunter Party at SunTree was a Huge success and gave a very good public impression! It was thouroughly enjoyed by all that went to it.
The Party at the Holiday Inn on the 18th. and 19th. of August is going to be great!
I was trying to make a situation awareness about where people will be comming to.
Pegleg has been around awhile, I sent him email.

Well EVERYONE,
It is time to stop posting anything connected to the EXPO.
I have already started DELETING some of my postings.
I have asked Jeff of Pa to put everything under ONE HEADING that is connected with this EXPO.
Sorry for littering this forum with so many different things that are connected to this EXPO.

The TREASURE HUNTERS EXPO in NOT a Treasure Hunt by any means.
It is a Get Together of Professional and Amateur Tresure Hunters and to be able to meet with the General Public and discuss their Profession or Hobby.

PegLeg, I think everything sounds great. I won't be able to make it but I have an idea for a sponsor that the club I belong to used for our club show. It was a big well-known company. PM me for the details. I think if you have someone closer to Florida, they may be able to make the calls and work the details out but I am pretty sure they may sponsor.
