Happy New Year, Oddrock and Thom;

Hey, Oddrock. That figure looks kinda human in profile but more like a big cat (lion, tiger) straight on.

Happy New Year. And thanks all for making the last one endlessly fascinating.

And to all a good knight...chuckles. One never knows about those knights.

It has been a year of tremendous loss, (last year).
I can only hope that one in the last few stands out to give some kind of relevant difference.

I'm looking for a difference that makes the loss less intimidating.

Sir Springfield,

I will speculate that Old Dog is referring to the loss of his father, which several of us on this website noticed.

Oddrock

Hello Short stack, and Desert Moons, ... good to here from you both.

Thanks old friend,
I would hope that Buddy Arnold and others lost last year are kept close in memory as well.

I have 5 good examples of birds. All displayed or done differently. Some complete, some just the heads. They all were next to a good spot. The owl is the one I have seen the most.

Casca

show me yours...show you mine :laughing9:(my first thought was perhaps you were referring to a certain birds head I have not mentioned in one of my pics...but then I am just guessing?) Please clarify.

Oddrock

No Oddrock, I did not pay attention to the birds except one well made owl.

The dove my favorite keeps popping up in the right places.

I dont care to share horses, dogs, or birds much.

Casca

Share not works for me.

Oddrock

I do share oddrock. But I don't understand what I'm looking at. I work the signs I'm familure with. I usually share the good stuff with serious people. Just send me pm. I can usually spot the guys who know and love their Spanish stuff.

It is true you did show the above pic and thanks for that.

I also agree that we may find the owl whole or partial. The beak, eyes (in this case one open, one closed), and the "ears" is more than enough to say owl to me.
This one is wedged tight above my dragon avator....hard to see because ones eyes focus on the dragon..?

There is more than a bird there lol. The stone I showed has a dove carved into it. Look to the left and down, it is facing right, beak closed and eye opened. Its almost a full body image.

Share and share alike, smiles. The shadow on this, I have often pondered on. I think there is an owl on the ground. But could the angular shadow be one of those partial owls?
