The UK responds to TH

Frankly I consider our brothers across the sea to be independent and freedom loving brothers in arms. I find it insulting to them to portray them otherwise.

LOL...that's rich.....when I choose my "brothers in arms" I generally look for ones that have arms. In the early stages of WWII, when it looked like Hitler was going to attack Britain, we had to send them arms, as the people didn't have any. Guess why?
Jim

Have you ever studied history?

Yes, the American people are each born with the Bill of Rights, "The Right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" and it is written and guaranteed in our Constitution's Bill of Rights..... That is the difference, the English government took that right away from the English subjects..........
Yes...and I applaud you for using the term SUBJECTS, as they are no longer citizens. Their own safety is totally dependent on the government. If they are sick, weak, small, old, etc., and the cops don't make it on time, they are dead.
Jim

Folks,

Last time I checked both the Brits and Canucks are fighting side by side with the US forces to protect those same rights and freedoms
you hold so dear half way around the world......so yeah we've got some skin in the game as the saying goes......

The world record sniper kill is held by a Canuck.....and here's the video to back it up......so keep that in mind the next time you choose to
tell your allies to butt out....with all due respect.

The world record sniper kill is held by a Canuck..and here's the video to back it

Update, that honor actually goes to a Brit, and he killed 2 at a greater distance :tongue3:

Don't worry Bill, records are meant to be broken, your guy can get another shot :tongue3:

Another shot, sometimes I kill myself :laughing7:

I guess you havnt heard of these things we call wars that the British have fought along side us for many many decades??

Yeah, if it wasn't for the United States, they would all be goose stepping and speaking German now. Do you know that when the threat of a German invasion was just across the channel, and the U.S. was doing lend lease, and the British Government actually wanted their people armed, the (OH MY GOD) NRA gathered up arms and ammunition from American civilians and shipped them to England, and armed the civilians so they could fight back if the Germans crossed the channel, and at that time the British government welcomed the shipment with open arms. Of course the thankfulness ended when the war did, and those guns were all destroyed. So why should I listen to a British subject that lives in the Kingdom of Sweden, where people are subjects, and bow and scrape to King Carl Gustoff (probably spelled wrong, but I don't speak or write Swedish) who (the king) I guess is supposed to be better than everyone else. I'll have to admit, the queen is quite a looker though, at least she was back in the 80's when I saw her picture. Quite frankly his cartoon is quite offensive to me. What gives him the right to offend me, or others on the forum, but we have to use nice language in return. His views don't count, his ideas of our country are skewed by who ever writes the articles he reads. I live here, I know what's going on first hand. I don't need some European Socialist spouting BS about things he knows nothing about. The said Swedish subject is biting the hand that saved his butt, probably back before he was born, but that's OK, lets all gather around, hold hands and sing kume-by-ya.

Please take the time to actually learn your world history before you make your statements. It may alarm you to find out that other than the original indigenous population everyone else came over from Europe.

*warning* - Incoming American rose tinted glasses historically indoctrinated drone alert!" (polite version).

Seriously, do you all get your historical knowledge from the back of a cornflakes box? lol.

Last time we let our subjects be armed they decided to invent the USA. Yes "subjects" not "colonnials". (That's just a cover up name to make people feel better...according to Chadeaux.) and look how that turned out! So i can understand why they took our guns away....helps keep us sane! ;)

My cartoon offends you? Well that's ok as your dependence on Whites detectors offends me...so guess we're equal!

And yes, you got the kings name wrong but it's a minor thing. You don't have to speak or type Swedish though. I don't speak French, German (thanks to you apparently lol) or Russian, but i can spell Paris, Berlin and Moscow! Don't worry about it.

I guess you havnt heard of these things we call wars that the British have fought along side us for many many decades??

guess I have to chime in...yes we have heard of wars fought, in the first one our cousins from England came over and the first thing they came after were our arms and munitions, and then there was the one several years later which did hold well for our cousins/brothers, and then there was the one seventy years ago, and if I remember correctly the American brothers had to send small arms to England so as to arm the home guard/civil defense because they did not have the arms to defend themselves from the Germanic hoards waiting to invade, and I am glad we had them to send, cause German spoke with an English accent just sounds bad

That's laughable to say the least. Please take the time learn your history before spouting off please, there is enough misinformation around here as it is. Do you think the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor, thus drawing the US into the war from watching from the side lines, had anything to do with it? Early stages? The war was on for a few years before the US got involved. Were we not allies during the war, or did the US win it on it's own? Total ignorance.

Yeah Britain was feeling the hurt real bad at that stage of the war. The English with their French and allies had depleted almost all of their resources defending the free world from the Axis powers' continued global assault. It's too bad their traditional allies did NOTHING while watching from afar until the Japanese decided to pay the US a visit.

America is not ruled by one person, it takes an act of congress to go to war, we were not in any treaties at the time that required we go to war if a country was attacked. We did supply arms and men who fought under British commanders. It took Japans attack on USA. Japan a member of the Axis powers to enable Roosevelt to declare a state of war exists between USA, Japan and the Axis powers of Germany, Italy and Japan.

We are criticized for sticking our noses in other countries business for being a "policeman" yet we are the one called on when there is a major world crisis requiring military power, we are the first to respond to most major natural disasters with aid and money.

Most of the worlds crisis' happen after the CIA have already been there for years messing things up! Don't blame us thankyou!

WTF! It never ceases to amaze the unparalleled hate-gushing from our northern neighbors but I have not seen it from across the pond as such. WTF mates? What it will come down to as it always has throughout history is free humanity Vs. Tyranny, it always has and it always will. Why when there is such a call to disarm the citizens is the so called "government" gearing-up for all out war? DHS, recently purchased over 1 BILLION rounds. Just their most recent purchase, for what?

Such an outcry for the U.S. citizen to disarm when all the while one would have to multiply by many hundreds of thousands of times the number of innocent men, women and children the so called "governments" of the world have killed. Not just the U.S. Gov either, the British don't have such a humanity-loving track record either throughout history so enough with putting it all on the U.S.

If there was never a threat in the world and no history to prove such tyranny ever existed than I would have little use for a gun other than to hunt for food. Keep your opinions and I'll keep mine but when the s**t hits the fan as it always has throughout history unfortunately at least me and 100 million of my compatriots might have something to say about being carted-off to some gas chamber or some "work camp"

That's very nice mate, but this thread's about the body count rate from shootings between the UK and US. The "Alex Jones is GOD" forum is down the corridor. Turn left at the water cooler. Thanks.

Dude the entire dhs ammo thing was debunked a long time ago - FYI. Not a good example to use anymore.

To Dano: Belittle all you want mate, the grass is not as green as you are trying to make it out to be on your Island. It doesn't hurt me in the slightest to be prepared for what might befall us all, but why snub my nose to such possibilities only because I just don't want to believe such things can happen. Not me dude, not me.

As far as body count from shootings in the UK Vs. the U.S. maybe it would have more significance if

1. It were comparing two countries with similar variables. You can say gun control works but people will find other ways (as they do) to commit homicide and violent crimes. So could I also compare shark attack killings in Hawaii Vs. shark attack killings in Mongolia? By this criteria there should be NO shark attack killings in Mongolia if they don't have any sharks.

2. Your condescending posts are a real turn-off even though you have claimed that your not here to "annoy" anyone. Be well. :)
