Ya'll can have them cold temps. Below freezing here is enough and to top it off we get our snow tonight 6-8" But that's fine as it's been a few years and just for a day. 50's and rain on Thur.

Mornin all.
This business of old dogs...
I'd rather sip coffee and peek out the window than be sweeping snow and carrying a dog out right away.
Ahh well. Zero here. Supposed to get colder but there comes a point it's just plain cold.

Two of the dogs paused and listened to the woods when we were outside.
Later I heard (above the ear ringing) a fine tinkle a bit deeper toned than chimes.
Squirrel on the move .Maybe cold driven.
It took a posted curled posture after traveling to just the right spot and tail umbrellaed.
That was early /first light.
A bit of sun broke through just now.
Squirrel expected it would be clear enough to get some sun instead of the near constant lake effect snow? It appears so.
