We had some of the wild turkeys come almost right up to the door yesterday, cleaning up under the bird feeder where the goldfinches were eating.

Hi. We went for a drive to Charlton here in Victoria.
Temperature 32c.
What follows is why I have little pitty on Australian livestock farmers here in Victoria when they put the hand out during hard times.
Iv met a very few that do care for the animals. Sheep and Cattle. But they are amongst the very few. The majority are hungry for money, clear the land for the maximum cropping and don't care for the animals that they have.
This is a typical example. Ive seen this garage time and time again.
Check it out.
Sheep farm with all decent shade trees removed for maximum cropping time harvest.

How are they getting shade from 30s to mid high 40c heat. 40s coming there next week. All hiding under the only shade available, the shearing shed.

I haven't fired, though my Brother-in-law took us out as he fired his car truck weapons.
Few clips out if the UZI.
He also had the .50 cal. loaded with anti-tank rounds.

Strange why he had those rounds as I never seen or heard of a tank running the mountain roads.
