Good morning bart and bill.

jim,

So are you planning on wearing a powdered wig and frilly clothes after you install your fancy pants head board?....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I can see your dating of the piece closer.
The time era even when men wore frilly, and wigs of curl was "very in". I can visualize the piece fitting in very nicely.

Good morning bart

Morning Bill, another day of much water needed.

jim,

Well back in March my wife was shopping at a grocery store that's part of the Sobey's chain. They had installed plexiglas shields at the cash. She was wearing a mask, however, the cashier and bagger weren't and behind the cash no shield and she asked for a bag and it was handed to her.

She emailed headquarters and told them what happened the next day the director of the store called and told her that wearing masks was optional. She gave him a lecture about their responsibility to protect both their employees and customers.
Her next trip they were wearing masks. Moral of the story the squeaking wheel gets the grease.

Just to confirm that people should be cautious the WHO advised on the weekend that the most cases worldwide in one day were reported.

I truly believe that many aren't taking it seriously any longer, or just getting fed up. Wife had to do some banking, and that involved seeing a person in an office. This bank isn't following any protocols of any sort-zero. She was wearing a mask, and the dude wanted to shake her hand even, she's like get away from me. So the guy put on his mask and said "Do you feel better now?"
I noticed the BNS sent a comment survey email out asking how her visit went.
The email starts off claiming they take all these precautions in this ever changing world. Bla, bla,bla
I feel my left shoulder getting warmed up-for a phone call.

Bill it came from Montreal-just thinking it might be pretty close to what the decor of QC'ers is.:laughing7:

Jim,

On a serious note believe Dave is correct on the time frame of the headboard. That style of furniture is probably what's called Rococo and was popular during the 1800's.

Jim,

Yep we've been spending a lot of time watering our gardens and lawn to keep things from going belly up on us.
Our lawn on the lake side in front of the house is going brown. Poor soil, gravel fill basically and it doesn't much matter either as the rest stays pretty green.
Less to mow-is good.
