yesterday i saw for the first time a tarantula in my back yard my dad says the fire ants killed most of them when he was a kid. you should seen the look on his face when he saw it run up at him

Geez, I hate spiders! This reminds me of a great story...

My brothers video teacher was discussing spiders of South America. She was in Brazil I think, on a Youth trip for her church. She was about 13 at the time.

Anyway, she had to go use the bathroom, so she stepped inside the ladies room, opened a stall door, and on the toilet seat (covering the ENTIRE toilet seat) was a Goliath Bird Eating spider. Those things are massive! She screamed, and ran out and told the Youth Group leader, and he had nothing to "exterminate" the beast at the camp. So he drove into town to a local construction site, and came back with a worker and a quarter stick of dynamite. Long story short, they threw in the lighted stick, ran, and the spider, along with the bathroom, blew up, lol! Can't see that stuff in America...and that's a good thing.

I'm going to look at some treasure that a pirate got here in the keys. Says he salvaged it all on a legal lease in the 80s. I never herd a word about anything hes told me and I cant believe that I can find no info about it. He said he found far less than his competitor. He also cant believe that none of this is documented. So we will see what hes got and maybe I can glean some secrets from him. So us pirates are gonna go and drink rum and look at some treasure. That's why they call it forecasting..... an educated guess at best. When I was a kid I spent a lot of time at my uncle's farm between his barometer which he swore by and just looking at the sky he was pretty much bang on with what the weather was going to be.

Don't remember if I posted this recipe video or not for fermented carrot coleslaw. I changed it up a bit and added the juice of 1 lemon to 4 cups of grated carrots and the ginger will post a picture later when I put it in the jar.

I am in the market for a new metal detector! (soon, not now.) My grandma out of the blue struck a deal with me. If I can raise $350 (which on ebay, with a few prayers, is no problem), she can raise the other half to buy me a new metal detector. I can't make up my mind though...AT MAX, or Equinox?

(I actually have the money now, but because I'm a miser, I like having some cash left over )

I love watching Aquachigger, and he uses an AT MAX all the time (okay, I hate that he finds all of those shells, and leaves me none to find). When I was at DIV, the folks using the Equinox detected circles around everyone else.

Well looks like you just answered your own question based on the evidence the Equinox wins hands down.
