Got me a note in a bottle yesterday......this one was launched in keywest 8/16/2018. It was found at robbies marina by hector, valentina, and natalie !! They signed the letter and added a christmas pic of themselves and relaunched it 2/8/19. I found it in key largo !! It has an email from the original senders Teresa and Beatrice!! I'll email them and let them know that I will relaunch the bottle in Feb when I go to the bahamas. I will drop it in the center of the gulfstream. That will send it up Bill's way in short order !! There was a fishing lure and a couple beads in there too. I'll have to add something too !!

We made reservations for a week at Orange Beach Nov.30 - Dec7 Wa Hoo. Gonna do wet and dry sand treasure looking. I've never used the Deus on sand but this time. My old M6 had been the machine.

check out this tiger cowry shell !! I found it on the beach. They are from the indo Pacific region so I'm not sure how it got on a beach in the keys ?? I guess it could have been blown out of a beach front home....they are imported to the shell shops here. The most exotic sea shell I've ever found in florida. If it got here on it's own then that little sucker crawled a very long way !!

Ya....impossible!! It more than likely came off of someone's patio during Irma. Right after Irma the owner of the closest house asked me if I could find his pool and mark the edges in the sand so he could dig it out. Absolutely no hint that the pool was even there. found the edge of the pool and outlined it for him. Yesterday he told me I could take a dip in the pool anytime I like....thought that was a nice gesture !!

I'm using my beat up TracFone to post this. ... The only deer to come by so far came in so early, I couldn't see it. Right now, I have an annoying Turkey just out of view.... Been kinda boring, so I've been researching perryville, and online bullet shopping. Still nothing. It took me five minutes to type this with gloves on..

It's coming, just be patient...Soon the grass will crunch, the water will freeze, the ice will wipe out all motor vehicles, snow will be shoveled, flu will spread, cabin fever will set in, drunken new years parties will be rampant, and then you have two more months of the same until spring!

I'll take the hot weather any day.

I forget, Texas is a big state. Do you live closer to the western side? I know a buddy of mine in the eastern side had a rough time during that polar vortex last year.
