"She is not real fond of us"

The old case of "The inlaws are outlaws"

Well, she's like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get out of her. Sometimes she's pleasant and friendly, other times she kind of snubs us. We are only 5 minutes away, but we don't have any connections except family events held 20 minutes away. This might be a bonding moment for us.

Hey, did I see that you have a bobcat to dig with? I want one! I have stumbled across something big and deep, and tree roots all over it. It made my max scream and registered 85, and even with new batteries (I kept hearing this little black bird squawking, "Put new batteries in the pinpointer, WD.") the pinpointer screamed. Probably a big drainage pipe, but I am going to give it a third try here in a few. You know once I get my coffee in.

No bobcat, just a hired friend to dig. He brought over his backhoe as well. The blue clay was actually to hard for the bobcat.
In hind sight I should of known that and got a bigger excavator to dig it out.
Then again I would love to own a small hoe to dig pits, dumps, cellar holes out.
I am at the age where digging is a hard decision for me to take on.

Then again I am really excited to be gifted a toy to use once in a while also.:notworthy:

You're kinda bossy. :director:
Once in awhile one has to keep the troops in order. It's not disorder it's just being focused on what's important. I need simple real time photos of the finds that are being dug.
Not too bossy. Just a itch that needs a scratched.:laughing7:

Had a pretty good weekend, dug a tribe of Indians and .41 Swiss rimfire...

Nice finds, Toecutter! I can relate to Annabelle. That is why I am the photographer mostly.

Morning TC, good results from the hunt. Congrats to Annabelle on her first IH.:icon_thumleft:

OK. I am out before pepper tells me to get out. Just messing with ya pepper. :laughing9:
I have 2 shoulders, the left is the one that gets me in trouble. :laughing7:
I have a thick skin, too.
I know you were messing around-weren't you????:crybaby2:

How many times have we gone out detecting and wondered how much ground the site covered. Here is a simple mapping link that I use to figure the site coverage.

Here's an example of a homestead site I have hunted this spring a few times. Mid/late Victorian era.

Hey, I recognize that yellow EZ17 Excavator buddy... unfortunately though, it now resides somewhere near Niagara Falls, ON. :laughing7:

Me doing the tow-&-show thing in St. Catherine's last summer.
