These king tides will light it up on the entire coast !! A lot of my good finds come in the fall winter season. I'm trying to time a good trip to vero because it's got to be getting good. beach erosion will be good tonight. I could leave at 5 am and be detecting Rio mar by 8:00am. Predicting weather it will be worth the drive is the trick. This front could roll up a good nor'Easter !!

Bart... Vero is dry.

Much better spots and not in leases exist IMO.

And who knows... you might just be the one... the one who rewrites the deal with a real find.

Thought I might be the one to do it... BUT... I never have the time block needed to shoot over and sweep the areas I have long ago.

What the treasure coast guys don't know is I lived with my grandparents in vero from 1980-1992 !! I've got a couple secrets that only local knowledge and inside info would know !! I graduated from vero beach high. I've seen a lot of treasure up there from various families. One of my little secrets is that a friend and I found a cluster of english black bottles some labeled London 1715 and a complete english musket minus the rotted wood !! We brought it to school and they gave it to the state to examine.....2 years later we still didnt have it back as promised....we graduated and that was it...gone !! One day on the shipwreck thread I'll tell the story of a vast fortune found by a friends father while lobster diving in vero. They got rich....it was incredible and one day when I drop this bomb it will change some things both written and unwritten.

I know spots all over down by you... I know where coins have been detected everywhere down there... from baseball field coral crunching finds,,, to swim holes long gone.

Did I ever tell ya about the pile o silver bars in 6 foot of water of backside of Islamorada ?

Your right I can sleep in till the tide is right and 15 minutes to where I know there is a coin !! Dont leave treasure to find treasure !!

I spent a year in Melbourne getting my certs to work for Mel...

Lots of things got said in those days.

I know some things :)

I have herd various different banks back on the bayside connected to that story ARC !! Havnt looked yet !!

When I go I stay as long as it takes to hit most of the known spots and some of my own. I'm gonna race over there and snatch you up to come with me one day !!

Went out after supper to snap of few pictures of the mess on my street. The oversized backhoe is pretty much up to the end of our driveway.

They're changing the storm drain pipes and filing with fresh gravel, changing sidewalks and repaving.

I've got to resize the photos before uploading.

Bart,

Yeah I'll be waiting until the sidewalks are taken up and hit the stretch after their shifts at 3 p.m. or so.

Bill I was trying to find out what Canadian gold coins looked like back in the 1800s. What kind of Canadian gold coins could you expect ?? In a perfect world of coarse.

lol... heh... me breaking away... lol... SOON my friend... maybe after the first of the year I will finally be able to shake loose some time.

I haven't even been here. (metal detectingthat is)

Got a relative who's house flooded... been working on that project for 3 months now... no insurance.

My boat hasn't been this dry in its life... I am jones'n for salt water.

Lost this whole summer... POOF gone...

This year for crying out loud... sheesh it is flying by.

Bart,

Actually Canada didn't issue any Gold coins in the 1800's. So any gold coins circulating here back in that era would be from Great Britain, the U.S., etc.... We only had a few years of circulating gold coins around the WW1 era.

The province of Newfoundland had some also for awhile.
