Well, I went back through Bart's fish pic thread to find my pic of "bream." I couldn't find it. I found a few "likes" that I missed. oops.

Bill, I have a question for you. In the video, the guy said to roll your herbs in oil before adding it. What if you only have dried, packaged herbs? How or what do you do to bring out the flavor in them? Dump them in a bowl of oil and the strain them out?

Going to the garden. Planting cornbread today.Goes Purdy good with peas.

Morning ARC, WD, Bill, Rook.

I too was looking at the moon right at dawn this morning.
It looked bigger than normal. Clear sky provided an excellent view.

I guess I need to get to work. It's really hard when it is such a nice spring day.

Have a Blessed day everyone! :love1:

I started working again at the end of last week. It's working for my old employer, through a temp agency, and is not full time. It is when I am working, but usually a month or so on and then a few weeks off, till the next big estimate is needed.

I got really burnt out working year around full time for 40+ years, so this seems to be working out until we can start collecting retirement stuff. Pay is good, and we downsized before just before reducing the work schedule. The misses was able to retire, and I may have another year or two at part time.

Time to get some coffee, anyone want some while I'm up?

Well not totally caught up on likes, but after 20 minutes, my finger is tired, and I have to go to work.
Have a good day everyone

morning Rook, see that moon this morning? Nice big full one.

I guess I'll mosey over to the other room to go to work, gonna be a long day.

I forget who planted cornbread, but I smiled when I saw that.
I hope we find out how it goes.

WD,

The trick to bringing out the flavor in dried herbs is to crumble them between your fingers before adding. It helps to bring out the natural flavors.
