Yes we will survive!

Good afternoon crew mates!

Idahodutch I wondered why I heard on tv one small snippet about Bill Gates stepping away from all his businesses and the Warren Buffett investment group. Ah, now that makes more sense!

And GoldieLocks congrats on your acquired house buying ability.

All went well at Dr.'s appt., saw nurse practitioner, finally get a second EMG test, after 2 years! Don't ya know, I was the "only" patient in that office the whole time! There are some perks to this!
Bart, pass me a corona! I'll help ya take down a few! They think they will get us, ha! Take that!! Gluggg, glug, glug!

"Yes we will survive!"

Me too? :dontknow:

I went to Walmart today and picked up some sausage, Gatorade, eggs, a few canned goids, some heavy cream, coffee, a bunch of Bic lighters, and a head of lettuce. The guy in front of me had, and I am not making this up, three cases of Corona Extra and ten frozen pizzas.

I said to him, " You shoulda used the express ten items or less lane, ten pizzas and three cases of beer is only two items". :laughing7:

Yes Tom you too will survive!
Now pull up a chair, open a beer and drink up!
:headbang:

Hello there Rook. :hello2:

Bill, I am back in the bag cave...uh...maybe not a bat cave...I'm back aboard the ship, and safe!I

....maybe auto correct knows more about me than I do!
Bag cave??? Really!!?? Sheesze!

WORD! :headbang: :occasion14:

Tom,

That world counter link I did awhile back shows Germany with probably the lowest death rate of all the countries. Trying to find a silver lining maybe all the beer you folks drink helps.....:icon_scratch::icon_scratch::icon_scratch:

Duckshot,
I have to ask, cause I always wondered what canned goids taste like? :dontknow: :laughing7:

when I look at bnonews and the statistics, it is clear to see that something is wrong!

It has to be B/S at all or it must be a race specific virus :laughing7: 8-)

Tom,

First off lets face it people from northern climates are tough as nails....it's the only way we can survive our crappy weather.

Check out the stats for Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Canada, etc....and all the percentages are lower.

Meanwhile I just finished making a fresh batch of homemade sauerkraut and me and the missus just had a tablespoon full each.
The probiotics from fermented foods help the immune system.

Listen to uncle Bill and that applies to the rest of the crew also....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

If hot humid weather kills this virus, by late May we here in the Deep South will be in better shape.

rook,

This bug is new to all of us....and quite a few sources are saying the hotter weather will stop it or at least slow it down. Let's hope so I'm keeping my fingers crossed they're right.

Where I am that's still about 3 months away so as much as it's a bloody pain me and the missus will stay under self quarantine and just do minimal outings for shopping.

Here's a video about the benefits of probiotics from fermented foods....that's something we all need to boost our immune system during this outbreak.

Bill, I just bought 10 Kilos of Sauerkraut and made a huge 20 Liter stone ware barrel myself some weeks ago!

I am just scared to taste the self made :laughing7: Wife has to taste it before I put that stuff in my mouth :laughing7: That´s the reason I bought 10 extra Kilos :headbang:

Guys, if some of you drying food, NEVER EVER build a dryer box like this below!

It works very well with sunlight but the direct UV light destroys most of the vitamins. So it is useless.

Hey Tom:
I deleted my Germany post.
I had the wrong graph on it and couldn't get it to leave!
Quite a steady climb since the onset of the virus there.

I'm not doubting the reporting , too much , but wonder of certain areas of dense poorer housing...And their vulnerability.

Tom speaking of Germany... what is the scene with Corona there ?
