Another reason to go into voluntary quarantine they figure for every reported case out there another 5 to 10 have a milder version and are freely circulating thus the heavy contagion rate.

From day one it has spread by "stealth transmission".

Bart,

Not to alarm you but the fever and cough sounds like it could be the virus.....if you have a healthline suggest you or her phone and describe the symptoms to see if she should be tested. Better to play it safe buddy.

I'm alive....wife is down with fever and cough....not sure what is going on with her. All my stuff is in the Bahamas ! Not sure when I'm going back...but....we do have a half million dollars worth of equipment sitting over there. On top of all that we just bought a 55 viking sportfish...so I dont know what's happening any more. I've been cutting mahogany trees for the last 3-4 days.

The border between Canada and the U.S. has been temporarily closed to all but essential traffic. Hope it helps to contain the virus. Stay safe out there.

Today's the day I go get a bunch of nerves in my back oblated.
They say a week or so for recovery.
No pain meds. Ice & Advil.
A little nervous, the drive is a bit over an hour 1-way.
Seen you on this he other side.

Abberated times.....

Do you have a lantern Uncle?
Just in case I head N.E. in my 12 foot boat with the dogs and her Royal indoors....You could put the lantern on the shore by sugar beach for my night run.
(I'm working on how to portage around Niagara falls still....)
I'll bring the roll of toilet paper I scored today!

RC,

Glad you're keeping your sense of humour....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7: one advantage you and the rest of the rural folks have on the thread is the limited face to face contact with others. I stopped my coffee stop the last 2 days on my morning walks and am even trying to keep a reasonable distance from others when walking.

The regulars I see on my walks we just wave and smile to each other rather than chatting....no one's taking offence they just know it's the best approach until this crazy virus gets under control.

Good morning Rook, Toecutter, ARC, Bill, WD, GB, Bart, Chris, Idahodutch, Duckshot, RC
And the rest of the crew. Hope every one is ok & doing good.

FYI try staples, home depot, stores like that for toilet paper & paper towels. A lot of people don't realize they carry it.

Lots of smiles from strangers today. And...Lots of strange strangers.
Being minus a leg I tend to watch folks strides/balance between feet/legs in use. About 2 out of ten are synced. For varied reasons...Many seem to have been on a rolling ship for quite a while.
(Here's hoping those who notice me watching don't think I have a fetish or something.)

I sat in a parking lot waiting for my ladyfriend to leave the store ,and eyed the foot traffic...
A gal passed quite near my truck and I checked out her her carts contents, (already having noted her foot loco- motion, me bored? Nah..). A bag of cat litter it seemed.
She was past me by then and she said real loud , "hello!". She got hellow-ed in return,of course.

Afternoon Msbeepbeep.

I'm keeping busy at the saw mill....wife is home not feeling bad at all...were waiting for doc to call back for possible test....well see what they say. I'm gonna do the corona virus quarantine corona challenge...its the one where you drink corona all day every day for 14 days !!

Prayers for your wife Bart hope its only the normal stuff, and she recovers quickly.

WD prayers for you & yours also.

Idahodutch prayers for your procedure that all goes well and you have a complete recovery and are pain free.I

Nice finds Toecutter, congrats!

ARC, I hope the influx heads home because at some point travel maybe curtailed nation wide. If they don't stop hanging out and spreading stuff.

On the bright side 98% that get covid 19 recover. And I was looking at the amounts of tests to actual cases, it's very low so a lot of people have a cold, reg. flu, or something else.
Remain calm, you can get thru anything.
We've all got each other's back.

I won't be going to Dr. appt tomorrow, tried to call & cancel. I doubt the place is even open. It would have been nice if they had at least just left a message all spots are cancelled, instead of there's no to answer phone calls.

I feel bad for those going stir crazy.
I've had 2 years to practice. Repeat after me...there's no place like home in the RCT.

bart
I'd be the talk of the river channel in that rig. That's purdy.

Hi there Rook!
It was still morning when I started checking things out on here.

Msbbeepbeep,

Agree we've got plenty of food and essentials to keep us going. I'm still going out for my daily walks which helps and the weather is warming up so I'll get to play in the dirt soon.

Staples is out. I tried to order yesterday for the shop. We are down to 4 rolls on this side, I don't know what the situation is across the street where all the guys are. Expected delivery date was April 24th. But hey, I found out a little trick. I tried it with a piece of notebook paper. It will work, I just can't flush it. So selective use.
