RR....dont know what your plans are now but tom showed me how to seal the canon ball after cleaning. Crock pot filled with paraffin wax, and then submerge shot in crock pot until bubbles stop. Pull shot from crock pot and let dry !! Worked great for me !!

Man we are about to have some epic king tide events. Water was almost in the streets today !! The next high tide is gonna be at least 6 more inches !! My boss is thrilled that I'm finding coins and told me to go hunt these tides. So I'm excited about tomorrow's low tide. I cant believe we are having such great conditions....and now a king tide too !! Got to hit it while it's good and it's been good since dorian. I've been getting info on the 1715 fleet and those guys are struggling....but watching the treasure coast beaches blog I can see it's getting better now. Wont be long before it gets red hot up there too !! Might have to venture north for a few days of hunting soon.

No, no, no, lol! I guess I should have clarified This ball is around 3 Lbs., but it was shot out of a cannon that is called a 32 pounder. The stand of balls would have been a 32 lb. round approximately, thus everybody calls it a 32 pound grapeshot. Misnomer.
