The same things happening here with influencers that travel around and show off places "ohh look at this secret beach" "secret forest". They are destroying them all as dead head campers go and party there and leave everything behind. What they do is a dozen or so go, buy a cheap gazebo, cheap tent and everything else. All pitch in and its only say 30 bucks each. They leave it all behind, don't consider it worth their while to take it home. Iv come across gold detector camps Iike that numerous times. Iv taken home 3 good shovels, 1 pick, 3 rakes and a good fold up camp table.
This is a typical Aussie beachside park. This was the day after Christmas or the day before, the one just gone.

This all left behind after the Lost Paradise festival.

Beautiful place Vike.... Sorry it's no secret anymore. Understand the feeling and now it will continue to get abused and trashed if certain steps aren’t taken to prevent it. Us locals here just use any possible online scare tactic responses when people or companies try promoting it... Of course it also helps when one idiot gets seriously hurt from stupidity

Mate I can't believe how much its gone down hill in the past several years.
When it first started and id see them left in the bush I mistakenly thought they were people on the run or something like that, that left in a hurry. But when I mentioned it to others they said "no, that's the new thing, buy cheap and just get up and leave it all behind!" I was "get outta here, what idiot does that!?"
Well apparently there are thousands of these idiots here. 🫤

Anywho. Meltdown yesterday, got to 38.5 just shy of the 40 predicted.

They're doing it with all the old ghost towns in Nevada. First quads, and now side x sides (yes, I have both) have made it to where any idiot can access places that have been too hard to get to for many years. I couldn't care less that they go and look, but the trash is a real issue. Oh, and the need to dismantle everything there.

I have a shirt that says tourists go home...I get the looks but when I'm at the beaches and wilderness I open carry so the lookers... look away!! Hey...visit our coast as it is beautiful but don't thrash it!

Good morning!☕️ It’s now snowed for 24 hrs straight with 20-30 mph winds. There are both drifts and bare spots. I’m sure my county will be shut down today. This is what the snow looks like on my security cams. This is the first good snow here in about 4 yrs.
