Good morning folks, Friday is my last day before I retire. My manager called yesterday asking if I would postpone it until at least after the New Year. I politely declined. I've put it off long enough.

Congrats! You made it!

They remind me of a boss I had once. After working 12 to 24 hour days for 6 straight months and pushing vacation off four times. I went in the office to announce I was going on vacation the next week.

They hemmed and hawed and asked if I could just put it off one more month.

I said, " I came in here to inform you that I'm going on vacation starting next week. I did *NOT* come in here to ask for permission. You do what you want, we can discuss when I get back."

At the end of my career, many, many moons later. My last employer( not the same one), called me in to let me know my services wouldn't be needed anymore. (I knew it was Age discrimination but I didn't care. I was of retirement age and planned to do so.).

I told them I'd save them the trouble. I handed them a paper I'd prepared for the meeting. (I knew what was coming).
The paper was my resignation, it read:

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I hearby resign my position.....and give my 2 weeks notice. Please note, it is effective retroactively to 2 weeks prior to today.

Had that with the banks and licensing folks when they dropped a P in Scrapper.
I said I scrap-not scrape.
If you can't get my corporate name right how do you expect me to trust you with my money.

Well since we're on the P subject.

Dr called regarding Max's pee.
Too light.
Well if you drink lots you're gonna be clear too.

So we have to give him only a certain amount of water.
Catch his first Wizz.
Bring it to the vet.

His blood work was good, kidney, liver and other things ok.

Here's the kicker.
Well he might have Lepto.

I looked it up, nope.
You money grabbing SOB I'm thinking.
Mrs asked how much.
$380 + tax for a test.

Well, that can have its plusses and minuses. I'm PeeWee's favorite perch, and it's hard to do much when it's nap time and my arm is occupied.

Ahh that is beautiful 😍 xx Mr Moss has come back with the other Starlings.. i can still recognise him by his mannerisms…!! He ducks down more than any of the others when they are sitting on the fence!! xx

Well I declare tomorrow a roadtrip play day.
2 days of shop organizing.
Had probably 400sq ft of open floor space.
Now I have 1600 sq ft.
I actually drove through and out the other door.
Found a few things that I had not seen in a year or more.

Going to the gold coin permission maybe I can find a few things.
They were taking down a fence row along the field and the neighbors.
I been dreaming that they bought their fields also.
More sites to play on.

So. On still with the Blues theme, not music but one of our much loved lizards. Blue tongue Shingle back.
They act ferocious but are harmless and are found in the bush but are happy to live in your garden in country towns eating snails and slugs. Even the odd flowers. There was one that lived at my late parents home and it loved eating bits of peaches they would feed it.
Saw this fella today.
