Wonder where the hurricane sent gorden. I found a similar thing....it was a family who sent a message in a bottle. It had pictures and trinkets, and you were supposed to add something and throw it back to sea.....I took it fishing and let it go 20 miles off in the gulf stream !! I put a note with the find details, and added a plastic fishing worm !!
Hard tellin.

You've seen the tangled and untangled from mangroves alone...
floats that somehow prove how tough glass can be , while finding broken glass on the ocean floor that wasn't tough enough. Or just sink sank sunk.

A big world fraught with hazard for a bobbing bottle! Yet onward some go.

I once thought I would break the world record for most notes in a bottle ever found !! I stopped counting at 32....I've found many more since then. Pretty sure I could get this record!

Glad to hear you are okay, a lot of homeowners on the beaches there didn't do too good .

Hey everyone. I'm on a cruise ship headed to Nova Scotia. We left from Quebec City, eventually landing in Boston after many scenic stops. It's as cold as a well diggers ass in Alaska here! Nice change from Florida's heat.
Here I am sweating something bad.
Beautiful fall weather right now.
Enjoy your trip, maybe you'll see a 🐋 🐳

They for your karate lessons?
You must be very optimistic, thats a lot of hand chopping?
They sell on eBay for quite a chunk of change, I have no use for them. Knife handle blanks? Carvings? :dontknow:
Karate? ehhh! A friend of mine is a black belt in egg foo young or something... respect, but we got in a fight and I kicked his ass!!:headbang:

That's funny. Years ago New Yrs eve I sawa couple of guys hassling a guy on his own. He had enough and motioned for them to have a go. They started doing martial arts moves all impressive. The guy, one huge hit ko'd one of them the other ran away 😂
Before mobile phones days. Would loved to have got it on camera.

Id like to have that on camera too. I watched a video the other week with normal people taking on martial arts masters where they beat them. Was hilarious. Iv seen enough to think that they are good but in a lot of instances have been over romanticised by Hollywood and the movie industry.
Yrs back doing crowd control and security I couldn't carry anything officially. But sometimes at night I was 1 up, on my own. No way, I got some heavy nun chucks and learnt them for defence. Not the fancy stuff actual take out the target. Its very different from the fancy stuff. You gotta know when to pull it the right way after contact so to keep the rhythm and not get hit back on yourself. Otherwise it becomes an uncordinated mess. Id practice on bags and floor to ceiling balls. I knew a guy who was awesome at using them fancy and using staves like a cheer leader could spin batons. I offered him to have a go on the floor to ceiling, he missed the majority of tries and twice nearly broke his wrist from bounce back as he followed through instead of pulling back. The look on his face when I made contact every try and kept the motion up was priceless.
I had no fancy moves and If I tried I looked stupid.
But I haven't used them in decades and only had them for that work. Id probably do more damage to myself these days if I picked a pair up and tried 😂

A friend taught me to use a staff. Recently I got a shillelagh, same principle... and there is a martial arts style based on the shillelagh. I'm trying to become an Irish citizen so I need to fit in! :hello2:I helped my cousin a lot when younger with bail enforcement... they call them "bounty hunters" in the movies. :dontknow:That was a learning experience. Hey I'm typin' bold!!!:headbang:
