Good morning everyone. It’s hump day half way until your next treasure hunt.

Went out and checked the birds and all seems to be ok.

It will take a few days to see if the one turkey can shake off the injury.
Stress-heat/cold/food/injury are leading causes of turkey chick mortality it seems.

Amazing that a wild ones just goes about life, and seem to survive quite nicely.
Need to start mixing the 2 in a breeding program.

Just locking up last night, and noticed the screen door slider was open a tad.
Will install a steel ground cloth across the screened portion today so they can have the window open.

The Mrs really wanted me to move the turkeys over to the barn for one night.
I said really-so what about the next night, or the one after that?

Nope they're protected now.
Probably set up the live trap in the big enclosure to see if the coon will return.

Ok there's me, myself, and I. 🤣
Seriously I get my fix in early for 3 hrs.
Reading, looking at things, sluffing off time.
Then around 9am I get moving.
(The body of caffeine kicks in)
I hit it till 12-2pm have lunch.
Hit again to 6-8pm
Eat, bed, it takes about 3 minutes to go to sleep on a restless night.
I look at the forum while having a water break, or if curious if there's been a treasure posted.
That pretty well explains a day.
