This is the badge that my great grandfather wore as an Auxiliary Police Officer in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He was 100% Czechoslovakian, fresh off the boat, but he did his best as a volunteer cop during the late 20's, into the 30's.

Good Afternoon rook.

A belated hello to ARC, Bart and everyone else. Did my usual downtown pub outing....no leash today....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

Love balloons? :icon_scratch:

Air balloons, like Luftwaffe or Lufthansa, I don't speak German but I am a purebred. It's in my blood along with some Rumple Meinz :laughing7:

That song rocks with the German lyrics but the English version is kind of meh though it was top of the popularity for a bit in the eighties. I had a girlfriend translate the German to English to me once. Something about "people think they are UFOs from outer space, 99 jet fighters evrybody thinks they are Captain Kirk, the neighbors started getting pissed off so they shot at the horizon, 99 war ministers matches and gasoline cans, that such a thing would come to such a thing".

Good lyrical story telling, IMO.

Here is Rusty Relics meeting with that girl his mother don't approve of... -

The original Rendezvous. :laughing7:

Edited to add- hey Rusty! Notice how everybody uses their turn signals?

Do that!

See how Claude drives down the wrong side of the street, sometimes on the side walk and running red lights?

If you do that you better have a @&$# good reason! A girl is NOT a good reason!!!

Morning bart R.

Morning guys.

Fyi, living 40 minutes away from the closest town, isn't very good when it comes to pickin' up chicks If you know what I'm talking about. :laughing7:

On the flip side, it means that I'm in charge of the vehicle, and can take it where I want. Mostly. I spotted a nice creek/gully in he old part of town that I didn't know about at first, and I saw some glass in there as we drove past. That's spot number one.

Being a huge fan of Live PD and Cops, (I've been watching Cops since I was ten), I've been very observant of what to do, and not to do. Permit, proof of insurance, and registration within easy reach, tag lights, brake lights, and headlights are operational, etc. etc. blah blah blah.
