Got a little Gulf Coast detecting in this past weekend. Found the extreme results of coastal sands and waters on clad dimes.

I really hate dishing other's finds.

But that's one ugly looking one.
There's no helping that one back to any sense of being displayable.

The only way I was able to identify the remains of that coin was by comparing the back of a clean dime to what was left of that sliver. I had the wife verify the torch and branches to make sure of what I was seeing.
