Good morning pirates and piratesses! I am alive and back on cruise control! The halls are all decked. Canceled the stockings for this year. Got a bouncy house place reserved for our family Christmas. At least 95% of the gifts are bought, just need wrapped which is easy peasy if I put them in gift bags. The gift tins of fudge, buckeyes, and crunch n munch were passed out to our neighbors yesterday. We had our three feral grandkids over twice to work on their Christmas projects. Wanted to let them decorate the tree, that proved to be too exciting for them and, well, I took them home while we still had a tree standing. At least they got their projects close enough for me to call them done and all are packaged. Took a few days for the BP to calm down. Started focusing on stocking the bar for Christmas cocktails and New Year’s Eve drinks. And the mistletoe is up!

Yep, cruise time.

Morning all. Wednesday morning just after dawn decided to fight the crowd and get some detecting in. Had a little time before my grandson's graduation.

Thanks for giving us a glimpse into your world, Tony. I have to say, though, that you look more like a digger in Ohio with the overalls than a South Carolina beach hunter. Love it! 🥰

The overalls started with my other hobby, Antique engines and tractors. About 30yrs ago I started a hands on school exhibit, "GRANDPA'S FARM". All grandpas wore overalls and straw hats! It all came to an end with covid.

The overalls started with my other hobby, Antique engines and tractors. About 30yrs ago I started a hands on school exhibit, "GRANDPA'S FARM". All grandpas wore overalls and straw hats! It all came to an end with covid.

That looks like it was a lot of fun and educational for the little ones. Sorry it stopped. Maybe someone else will start it up again.

Top piece is anchor and hoking ruby red schlitz beer bottle bottom, and the other is an early tail light of some sort....it has a yellow glass trim. I rarely find red glass of any sort, and I found 2 in one day !!

Now see, I thought you were showing two pieces that were supposed to go together. I blame the phone (not the old eyes) . That red will add a little pop to your next masterpiece.
