These were cut from bars... they were done fast and crude due to the pressing demand to export them to Spain as quickly as possible.

To add...

12 hrs of digging! Well done-I feel the long hunt days now myself-kind of sucks.
Time to get that hot 🛀 of epsom salts going, and start planning for the 16th digging day. (I haven't forgotten)

12 hrs of digging! Well done-I feel the long hunt days now myself-kind of sucks.
Time to get that hot 🛀 of epsom salts going, and start planning for the 16th digging day. (I haven't forgotten)

Ha!!! The site is amazing so much lead… but u have to dig the signals dont u😂 xx i wish i knew what they were doing there🤔 xx and yes Wednesday is dig day… we are going back to the field with the water pump in… 😍 xx (pic of the scappy lead from sunday) 😅

I didn't even bother to post it up when I found it back when I did, nor any of my other finds from the England trips.
(It might have been a banner even)
Lazy-not really into the need to have one

(The finds that have made Banner have changed over the years-gee even a Roman silver made it up years ago-now not even hardly a nod, nor as blossom's rare $$$ Silver.
It's very subjective in so many ways-has to have all those "Pic/weather/machine/yelping/clicks"......)

Some days I wish I had-though most other days it's just a fuzzy warm feeling of the memory of turning the plug over-seeing it-flipping the plug back in-thinking did I just see what me eyes saw?
Flipping it back over-GOLD!

Lots of lead means activity for sure.
Could of been a fair site/trade
I found a fair site in 2014-another person walked through digging a few pieces of lead not realizing what they missed.
It was a crazy feast of digging-had the site all by me lonesome for a few hours till others started to appear in the distant.
I called them over-in turn they yelled to the others in the other field to join.

1.5 days of digging so many targets-the lead had to be dumped in piles on the edge of the field as the pouches were weighing too much.
Another team went to the site the following week-"Looked like the moon" from all the targets that had been dug out.
Fun times and a great memory of lead and the treasures that were dug.
So if one can imagine doing a 360 degree turn-that's what the site looked like from all that was dug.
