Last weekend I went to a bottle show and the school of hard knocks. Here’s what all I bought:

So there I was. Pre coffee outback with the dogs after sunrise , holding a flashlight...

Hard frost last night.

I asked the mr if he would be ok with me bringing in his mother’s collection and switching out my display cabinets . Our mothers’ glass in the upstairs and my bottles in the basement. So I brought in a box from the barn and got it all washed up, but haven’t made the switch. Then, yesterday I stopped at a little shop and spied these plates for $1.00 a piece. Had to have them. I think, according to what they are listed on eBay and Etsy, I did good.

Anyway, they help make a purdy table. ☺️

I've had such a strong urge to go down to Virginia to detect lately. My plan is, to use my Thanksgiving vacation this year, to go down to Culpeper county and just knock on doors. If I find a single, solitary bullet, I'll be happy.
