Though trying to pay attention to different things with this. I'll wake up around 5 or 6 with my heart just pounding like crazy and a fluttery feeling with just severe anxiety for no reason and then when I try to get back to sleep it's pointless it's immediately a nonstop flow of those strange nonsense thoughts so I just give up

Mornin all.
Bear whupped me again.
But I'm up!
(Dogs insisted I be.)
Morning RC
Saw a couple of those lanterns up on a local auction.
Missing a top screw.
Lot #43 & 45
Interested?

Aiehhhhh!!!

Um No. Shipping will be prohibitive.

Am I interested? Oh boy.
Canadian Colemans are not American Colemans. Thus very interesting. Yes they are Colemans.
But different!

interesting top screws are missing.
But then folks cranking down on them had damaged the porcelain too. Removing them prevents that!

And some folks prefer to remove upper vent and the glass globe before lighting. Less chance of sooting up the glass. And easier than poking a match through a tiny hole to light them.
Then reassemble. But too slowly and that stud the nut goes on gets hot.
Vent is not going anywhere without the nut. So maybe someone said they had enough frogging around with them??

Thanks for the heads up.
You could flip them. (l.o.l..)
There's at least one guy from Canada selling on the Old Coleman Parts forum.
And more on E-Bay ect.
But the shipping sucks.
And getting them packed so they don't break is a cxhallage.
A heartbreak if one of those old original globes get broken!!!

We're very different. So what I do won't relate the same for sure.
I wind down first. Routine helps.
Then read casual reading that distracts from brain doing inventory or focusing on non sleep.
It'll do that after I pass out!

What I picture in my mind when thoughts are distracting when I should be asleep is a little critter bedded down comfy cozy and snug. No human input. Odd yes for a grown man. But often effective.
Course I have a dog relaxing or sleeping near too I can listen to or just be aware of.

I'll deal with tomorrow when I get up. Tonight won't change anything.
And late night thoughts are seldom productive if applied during the day.
So , put them aside I tell myself.

I think the fear of the unknown has been quite rough on me. Since I'm afraid it's some sign of some sort of mental decline I'm afraid during the day I'll start having all that weirdness happen or I'll slowly start losing myself. Yeah may sound silly but it's a real fear to my mind

Mental decline.... Maybe that's why I worry less.

Remember , I'm not afraid of the dark.
Just afraid of what's in it.

This shipping $hit should be shot.
Crazy what they want to ship something.
Looked at a probe, $10 a foot.
Exchange & shipping came out to be $20+ a foot.
Nope-just out of principle.

Hi Evan
Can't wait for you to reach the ship.
Have to get some soil loaded in the hoop house.
good morning I made it, I mean I’m here I’m here lol . I want to build green house next year and I have extra soil if you need some. Shipping mite be expensive though but you can tell everyone you own land in California it’s just not in California anymore lol

Ok I moved 8 bucket loads of top soil. Rainy day tomorrow so it's nice and dry.
The Mrs has got a bug, so I went out for a few hours.
Clean up to follow,

Went on one of my permissions for a few hours not much as suspected as I've been over theses areas tons and tons. Found lots of scrap iron, some Levi buttons have tons of the things from these old farm sites wish they were worth something like the old Levi Jeans lol. Found bullets always find bullets, Found a neat gear thingy from a clock but too lazy to dig that out of my bag of junk. It was eh but got 20000 steps in so that something I guess.

Steam cleaner for upholstery even would do the trick.
There are companies that do in home service, affordable and they do a great job.
Yeah Thanks that what I'm thinking.By the time I rent all the stuff it would be easier/cheaper just to hire someone that does it . And maybe they can add some kind of protective sealer when their done ..Thanks Pepper :icon_thumright:

I would have a suggestion... IF... i knew anyone with or had any.

Personally... the carpet would be long gone if that were mine.

No offense RTR... but carpet on a boat sucks... never have understood that one.

Holds water... which adds weight... will speed deck rot / failure... holds everything from sand / dirt to mold.

Carpet of any type and water never sit well.
