Mornin all.
Exhausted and feel like I wrestled the invisible bear again.
Shot high on a buck. (?)
In a deluge of rain and hail I searched for sign in the alder jungle. Nothing.
I'll return after an important scheduled phone meeting this afternoon.
Just in case it wasn't a clean high miss.
Probably this buck I took pictures of a few minutes earlier.

L.o.l..
a bit above 3 inches high at a hundred gives me a center hold point blank range on a 16 ish inch tall target at 365.
Cut hair at a hundred on an upper neck by not holding low to compensate that 3 inches.
High shoulder intended yesterday to keep it out of the swamp. Likely didn't hold under and so cleared the deer. I have to go prove it better though by checking the swamp edge beyond. And route along it.

Heads move too much for me to target unless at handshaking range or similar... And I've put a paper bag on one before before hoisting it in the yard. And another , well it was effective. Leave it at that.
Rough on mounts as well.

in south Florida there's a thing with exotic soda pop.....once or twice a year I try one....the jarritos tamarind is unique and good. The colombiana is a copy of cuban brand "iron beer" both are tasty !!

Lol as a Californian I find it funny the Jarritos is considered exotic. Those are common here and I've had them many times. Just found it interesting.

They are common here too....but not to popular around the rest of America....its a Latin thing.
I guess it's different here in California with us right on the border. Lots of people drunk those here I myself have had them many times and that one you tried is my favorite lol
