Todays thoughts
Look at a state map of Florida.Think of the East Coast of Fl. as a giant sluice. Now, do you see the one and only riffle ?
And the 'low pressure area' just to the North of Cape Canaveral...........:tchest::headbang:
What Sunk near Vero,(300 years ago) is now got to be resting N. of same :headbang:And by that I mean North of whats now called "the treasure coast" :)

Yes fall is upon the lands.
Love this time of the year, been 3 days since we have had a single car go by.
We have the bay to ourselves once again.

Bart the other day you posted up a crusty green looking item, me'z asked "What Dat?" Me'z missed the answer-or did you'z forgot to answer-or you'z don't know.
So me'z ask again
"What was Dat-that you'z found?"
Religous medallion 1715 fleet....possibly....im afraid to clean it, so not sure !!

So to be truthful, I did better than Gary and the lagina brothers. They got a broken spike, and a rust chip. I got a complete tack, some lead chest liner, and a possible medallion.

Sounds like roger is ready to hunt the 1715 fleet again !!

What i would say is this.....use the satellite imagery, and you can see where the renourishment stops and starts. I would rather hunt an un renourished beach with no known treasure, than a renourished beach covering the wreck.

Also.....the sandy point wreck is virtually never hunted, because it is in front of a private community where parking is prohibited.....no one has access unless you have friends or relatives that live there. Heres the secret.....the beach access is open to all with no gate to get through....if you park your car will be towed in minutes....so to gain access, the simple method is to have some one drop you off and pick you up.....most people believe this is prohibited, but it is perfectly legal !! Got this info from a high-school friend who works there !!

Used to hunt the beaches on our local lake growing up. Cottager's used to yell at us for digging in the sand.
Anything below the high water mark was public property (something like curb strips)
It always seemed to turn into an interesting back and forth. :laughing7:

Good morning pirates and piratesses! Yesterday was a great day with my dad. I posted some pics on the RPT. I am getting real close to ordering a dumpster so I can toss trash out the attic window into it. The basement is still pretty disorganized though.
Today is going to be a good day, also. Hubby is coming home early and we are going to pick up another barrister cabinet.
Shhh. It’s in the CWAZ (Crazy Woman Alert Zone for the newbies) . I’ll get my camera ready. Maybe we will come across a photo opportunity or two.
