Ask Bart... i bet he is REAL nervous... and been running around like a chicken with its head gone.

Its serious situation about to develop here... its just a matter of "hurry up and wait"... which is the worst part.

There is the REAL chance that this time next week... we may not be chatting.
Furthermore... i live where i cannot "shelter in place"... so its bug out time prep... which is A TON of work.

What i leave behind MAY or MAY NOT be here when returning IF a direct or close hit happens.

At any time here.... ANY TIME there is this situation of a major storm poised... you have the roll of the dice...

You may leave to come back to major problems to nothing at all.

The Eastern seaboard of Canada is going to feel it this weekend.
Still a 2 when she hits.
Did go west in the forecasting models over the past few days.

Seee... its the one depression below us that is going to spit out into Caribbean.. this has ALL of Florida AND all of ANY Gulf states on HIGH alert.

Once that sucker gets into pure FUEL it will become a monster !

Then it will head north into Gulf... And once there... it has to go somewhere.

Whereever that will be........ will be.............. potentially.... mass devastation.

Ya been really lucky over time, but the odds are stacked for the one that the big river doesn't push away.

You have to completely get prepared... what you take might be all you own when its all said and done.

People dont understand the potential pure raw power of a full blown Cat 3-5 hurricane.

There's one thing that FL has and that's a lot of trailer park setups. Never good for any high # storm.
Was looking at buying down there-then reality set in-really do we need the stress in our lives? NOPE!

Also..... our area has the potential for a "Katrina" type situation if storm hits here.

been 101 years since one has hit here.... we are due.... over due.
Staying on AMI and seeing the highest part of the Island-kiss that place good-bye on a Cat.3-5
