my next study.....owned by Columbia, but seeking its own independence, this is old providence......much buccaneer action took place here, and it would be another great destination to find some good finds....another great boating destination, and one hell of an exotic vacation. This island had it all forts, spanish occupation and buccaneer occupation. It traded hands back and forth, and was a staging base for Henry Morgan and others to attack shipping and the spanish main. Now its a sleepy little tourist island that id like to visit....the history is thick enough to walk on here !! I'd love to snorkel for bottles here too !! Got to be some beauties !!

Well back to the daily grind.
Still sorting the scrap-the Mrs has been referring to me as Scrapper Jim again
Kind of fun reliving the early days of grinding out a life.
It's a hard go to make a living doing the scrap, but it's rewarding when the payment comes sliding through the window/machine.
Today I should have an isle way through the pile to the back of the pile then it will be easier to deal with in many respects.
Oh I wish for some of that OCD stuff in life where everything had to be neat and tidy-oh well what fun would that be then-cause there's no future undoing the done.
Calm waters everyone-may the treasure thoughts be kind.

the hogsty reef.....probably the richest reef in the bahamas.....cannon piles, ballast mounds, and treasure galleons on every side of this atoll/reef. I've been there briefly twice....its creepy, yet inspiring. I know a chef on a yacht, that found a super duper gold and emerald ring here. It was a mother ship operation, and when everyone else went out on the fishing boat the big yacht crew decided to snorkel around the yacht....the chef saw gold in the rocks of the reef and plucked out a once in a lifetime, one in a million find !!

wrecks litter every section of the reef...both modern and old !!
