IMO a fake.

Perhaps my best find ever... Nah... MY BEST FIND EVER!

Noodling around at a garage sale on Friday, and I saw the familiar Pail Blue Box. I pick it up, and sure enough, Tiffany & Co. Open the box and there is a key. I asked the price, and they said, "That's real Tiffany. $40" Put it in my pile, and eventually paid for that and some more stuff...

His screams fake in my opinion.
Now I wonder about his other buys as the "Mont Blanc Promotional items."
Yup at a garage sale yet.

Fake stuff abounds at yard sales... every year more and more fakes are surfacing.

If i see a light blue Tiffany box at a yard sale... 9 out of ten times i dont even look at it.

It really depends on many factors to IF i even open the box.

I gave examples of how the company logo looks like-put them side by side-it screams fake.
The buyers school of hard knocks.
Been there and done that in life.
First time I saw a real great fake was a "Mary Gregor" glass pitcher.

These hands have handled countless fake items over the years dashing many peoples hopes of their scores leaving a wake of disappointment.

Man... they even counterfeit laundry detergent now. heh

But be that as it may, your rum fueled dissertation is spot on except for one minor point. It is not I that selects the weekly calander assignments, for I am but a lowly Galley Mate 3rd Class. It is ether the Cap'n or his illustrious Segundo, one Sir Pepper of Kanada.

A little slow this morning, sleep deprived night.
It rained all day yesterday. It’s looking pretty gloomy this morning, also. Oh well. The boss said I had to clean today, anyway.

Oh BTW….
I did get to metal detect Friday. I sent out a text to the little group we have. No one else could make it. I took my dad. He seemed to enjoy it. 🤷‍♀️ Even the bling in Ohio is rusty. Lol.

PepperJ-Works in the bilge with the furry bilge rats(he's great friends with bilge Ben now)

"Traveller" on the other hand under states his 2nd Class Cabin Boy status so not to draw attention to his promotional aptitudes to which he brown nosed from the Captain.

He then gave the Monday calendar status to Pepperj.
Which means to live forever on a Monday, so to clean up after the weekend party of puke ups from the drunken pirate ship.
There you have it sir in a nut shell.
I won't forget this Monday-pass the mop and pail please.

You always encourage me. 🥰 I will confess, those finds and threads of yours make me dream. I mean there’s rich people partying on the lake. Maybe not as rich as down south, but still. So I did some snooping around and sure enough, I have found a spot. I asked the mr to take me to it , you know, after we caught our limit and if conditions are good.
