I'll have to try some of that I'm tired of constantly being stung up by these little devils

I tried a rototiller.
Poured hot grease from a frying pan on them.
Caused them to move a little ways away and start another mound is all.
Mounds for fire ants here can get three or more feet across and a foot or more high. Or not be noticeable till you stand on them. Which I've done bare legged in moccasins.
With a stake and tether so something doesn't carry it away , fire ant hills are good for cleaning skulls on. So the rumor goes.

My uncle tends to the yards here so when he's mowing all I hear is a constant stream of f bombs enough to leave the world in nuclear winter lol. He gets bit constantly as hes out there. Whatever type of fire ants these are they infest and are extremely hard to get rid of.

I'm guessing this is a shame that this sits and rots here. I noticed there are some car guys here. I know nothing about cars but do like the art of them. This has sat here for years I think it looks cool lol I don't know jack about cars. All I know is it's engine isn't the original and is a corvettes engine

Diatomaceous Earth sprinkle on the ant tracks. They pick it up, go back to their home, groom each other.
Think of having a bath in razor blades and glass.
Cuts the joints open, they bleed out.
Not a pretty death for the ant, but I sleep well.
(I'm sure I will end up on a anthill hell for these posts)

I bet the momma ants tell bed time stories about that evil Pepper the Ant Killer.

Once i had a two story place... went out drinking one night till wee early with a buddy... he crashed downstairs on sofa.

Next morning i come downstairs to hear him cursing loudly going on about how i need an exterminator ... i am like wtf are you talking about,,,
He lifts his shirt and has those white bumps all over his chest face neck etc...

And he is like "they even bit my private area all to hell and my left leg"
Come to find out...
2 nights before a chick had dropped a Combos pizza pretzel thing down in the crack of the couch above where his head was.

The ants WENT THROUGH his pants leg... UP his body... and over his face and neck to get at that Combo thing.
Crazy,,, never even had ants before that... and they were mean red ants.

I am cracking up even now typing this... He was so pissed. lol

Crazy,,, never even had ants before that... and they were mean red ants.

I am cracking up even now typing this..

He was so pissed. lol

Lol yup must be the kind we have here that's what they do. They are a pain in the arse(sometimes literally lol)

I was thinking that the chick left something on his pretzel.
Glad it didn't turns out like that.
Buddy used a can of Raide once.
We were out on the work gang, and those little crabs got him.🤣

A company that sells by the brand name Bengal has a powder product just for fire ants that has worked well for me.You dust it on the mounds and they take it in and it gets the queen.You have to stay after them though,search for new mounds and treat them as they appear. I don,t know what,s in it,for all I know it could be that Diamataceous Dirt.

Usually 90% or higher content.
Then they put a attraction pheromone in the mix.
