THE Random Chat Thread - AKA "The RCT" - No shirt or shoes required - Open 24 / 7

OF course I am only joking... FOR.... IF... that was true....

IT WOULD be the same picture.... ONLY....

I would be wearing no shirt and my smile would have been ear to ear :)
Then it would like you just caught the first piece.
Which ingrains the brain also.

If the pack of cigarettes is rolled up in the sleeve, you're the man.
That was the tough look around my parts.
No beater shirts, openly worn.
I was with my mom... she took the picture.... so smokes would have been in the picture... but not rolled in my shirt.

The whole pack would have been in my mouth !

:P

WHAT? Swiped a shirt?? You are joking right? I thought his avatar was a picture of himself, Greg Brady! You mean the Cap'n is not Greg Brady? But they look alike and his posts remind me exactly of the Brady Bunch. I am crushed. Now I see the Cap'n as just a wannabe Brady Bunch groupie.
Ssshhhh.

Close.
But it's Bobby.
And now in the witness protection program somewhere alleged to be in the far North.
Beware the diversion of Florida being mentioned.

Aggravation increased 1000x now. Got up to get dressed mind you blind at the moment no contact lenses in everything is just blurs. I grab a tank top to put on as I put it on I just feel a ton of movement on my head and shoulders. Oh no fire ants. The last two years we have these tiny fire ants that invade everything and nothing kills them off. They love to infest my clothes. Yay more little white blisters for me. Hate these stupid things

Oh!

Well you're awake now!

I waged war on a few mounds/colonies.
Fuel and kabooms resolved one nest by a former house. (Former lived in , not that it burned or was leveled type former).
Fire ants here are big enough I wouldn't call them little compared to piss ants or whatever they are. But are smaller than black ants.
They sure dig deep. The way I've had gas fumes ignite hints more than a couple feet deep.

We've hit these terrors hard the last fre years they don't stop and have heavily infested the area. Never had these here till the last few years and they have become a huge problem. They get inside and infest everything. They are tiny and bite almost as soon as they touch you. It's one of the few things I won't miss when I leave here. It can be someone else's problem

Out run them!

Dematiaceous earth. (Sp.?)

Don't inhale it. Don't put it in wet areas as it will soften.
I don't use it indoors due to not wanting a dog to huff it.

I have not used it this year. But have treated the back yard with it.
And put some in a shaker top container to use where piss ants dig between concrete cracks.
It cuts thier shells and they dehydrate.
Repeated dew or rain means reapplying.

I've also used it on the edges of structures outdoors. Just enough to get tracked in /picked up.

Diatomaceous Earth sprinkle on the ant tracks. They pick it up, go back to their home, groom each other.
Think of having a bath in razor blades and glass.
Cuts the joints open, they bleed out.
Not a pretty death for the ant, but I sleep well.
(I'm sure I will end up on a anthill hell for these posts)
