Lol my frustration is just that I'm tired of finding only trash. That's how every single outing has gone lately. The ox shoe though came from a heavily detected site big holes everywhere because jackasses have no respect. First ox shoe I've ever found around here. So going to keep it as in this area they just don't seem to come up much.
I've never found one....
Few years ago I came up with a super duper new setting on the detector.
Took a good part of a day hunting a couple sites. Maybe more.
Wow! Less to little trash. Calling more recoveries before seeing them...I was catching on!
Next outing I hit multiple sites and had to struggle to end up with two modern Lincoln cents! L.O.L...
You may not have read of another "fun" day.
Hunted a sports field rarely sported on , and low use basket ball court.
Scrounged up some keepers. (My keepers are not what fables are made of though.)
Rode the wheelchair down quite a grade to the boatlaunch and adjacent beach. I'd hunted the beach before , so hit the low odds launch area.
Dug a modern dime near the water. Had enough and headed up the hill on the woodsy , leafed dirt hill bypassing the ramp towards the sportsfield. No , I didn,t try the further stairs...
Pushing the chair with my detector across the armrests and headphones on the seat by hopping on my one leg I made it about halfway up before catching the headphone cable in the wheelpokes. Snap! A now two piece cable.
Took a breather and finished the hill .
Crossed the sportsfield about halfway and got a good hit on the now no headphones detector.
Uh oh , where is my Lesche digger?
Looking behind me showed a blank field. Ending at the...Hill.
Went to top of hill and looked around.. Way down there by the launch I see the bright colored handle on the digger.
L.O.L..
At least the trip back down was fast. Till the front casters started chattering.
