Good thanks. Weather nice today. Up near 60 and all sun. I am working on a 1960s stage microphone today that plugs into my Gibson amp. Getting the base ready to rechrome. My Dad's equipment.
Sounds like good stuff. I'm hoping to get out today. Finally had some rain yesterday and ground is damp and going to be sunny today. So hopefully I can get some detecting in today. Been awhile since I've found much of anything.

Good luck. Let us know how you do.

I shall but luck hasn't been a thing for me lately in the world of metal detecting but oh well always give a nice distraction for my anxiety brain regardless so that's always welcomed regardless of what I find.

Morning John
Best of luck on your detecting day out. Enjoying the process is key of a successful day.
(A keeper never hurts)

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Sometimes you get the turkey, Sometimes he gets you. Endeavor to persevere.

That is most definitely true. I just try to learn to enjoy the little things like just it being nice outside and having peace in my brain lol

L.o.l..
I have such an oatmeal can on the kitchen counter. Empty though....
I find his inexperience and excitement in the hobby funny. When he say the "AT" metal detector I laugh. I remember back when I first got into metal detecting even junk was exciting. Though I found it neat he's getting into it. Always cool watching someone enjoy the hobby and he doesn't do half bad.

Sometimes it's the newbies having the most fun.
An attitude thing maybe.

I have seen this play out many times over while detecting even I England.
They call it Newbie luck
They haven't become jaded as many old timers have with digging.

Question: When there's many tasks to accomplish and it seems that that the list is long.
How do others tackle this issue?
Pick a task, stick with it no matter what till it's completely done.
Pick the most pressing do the same.
Pick a few and pick away at each one.
What are some strategies regarding the list of projects?

Morning Trav. and RC
Still raining, snow is still receding here.
And I refuse to listen to that 3 week forecast :laughing7:
I said,”maybe!” Lol!

We took the golf cart to the lake and opened up the trailer. Appears that the area is a week behind what it is back home. Since you are on the other side of the pond, I am guessing 2 weeks. But, since I don’t know how much farther you are, I threw in the 3 weeks. CYA.

Well managed to ruin both my good pair of shoes in one go. Was taking a pan of cooking oil out to throw away accidentally dropped it landed right on my shoes. Shot my temper up and grabbed the shoes and chucked them outside as hard as I could. One bounce of the deck and went I don't know where yet and retrieved the other ones once I cooled off ugh.
