I would of preferred that you just kept the freezing rain RC.
But being a sharing guy you passed it along I see-yuk!

Heading home 2 weekends ago we heard a clunking/banging sound.
Then I went to pick up our bread order, and the car was hydroplaning. I mentioned it to the Mrs and she said Ya that happened to me coming home.
Gee maybe that might of been useful information.

Anyways the control arms broke-rough roads-sudden flash freeze.
All good and $400 less on the table.

Freezing rain came as I was driving back, crested the hill on the road coming to the house.
10 minutes later I got to the driveway 300ft, really thought as the car was slowly sliding down the hill I was wondering at what point it would stop.
Nope from a 5 MPH start it was a slow go, I slowly got the car to the snowy edge and it stopped, and I had another 50ft to the driveway.
So I called the powers to be, 5 minutes later we heard the beeping of the sander inching it's way in reverse to the driveway, now we can get out of here if needed.
I pity the person that comes down this road fast, as once it's past the driveway it's 90 degree corner and the lake.:laughing7:

Well if that's it then I guess I'll wear that one.

Though too many times in life we don't speak up when we hear/read something that isn't right.
Don't want to rock the boat-the old saying goes.
Don't want to stir up, to upset.
Play that forever safe centre field in life.
Make sure all the pegs fit in every structured hole.

Folks might take their Freedom for granted, protected and all.
All pretty written on a piece of parchment hung up there all pretty, laced with a bow.

Might as well throw it in the trash can when it's trampled by the powers.

I respect a person equally if they got/had to be vaccinated, as I respect those that haven't.

But I will not stand and zip it closed, when I hear the shit of it should be forced upon people.

I feel that this was motivated more than it shows on the surface, behind the scenes stir up.
Well if it was to poke the bear-well it didn't play nicely in return

So my dear pirates on the ship, it is what it is-I'm not taking anything back, but my back is turned to those types that think in that manner.
I do apologize for darkening the mood on the chat though, but if we can't be honest in life we might as well not say anything at all.
I write, and share things, some tads of dark-but I also try to show as well, the lighter side of one's life.

He who owns and dispenses the rum may dispense or withhold rum as he or she pleases. It is beholden on any recipient of said rum to be present at the appointed time to receive said rum ration. Basic Pirate ethics 101,taught in all the best Piratical schools.

Road on my end is water over a good base layer of ice.
Fun yesterday. Funnier today.
Last night it looked almost smooth enough for curling.

Aired up tires in her vehicle earlier. She'll be spinning now...L.o.l..

Got soaked in the rain cutting trenches in the ice to drain driveway pooling.
It'll freeze hard tonight , and for weeks if the forecast is right.
If the ice holds till refreeze , the road should be great. A little snow will fix traction issues. Driven on easily anyways , vs tromping on the gas.

Next month? The bottom will fall out and the road will be a slush and mud run.
there is a three way back blade I'm interested in. Most have just two ways to adjust. I'd like to work on putting more of a crown on the road with slight ditches in areas each side.
I can use it on the hunting property. (Yeah!) And should put in a proper yard here. (Yuuck.)

I've no question.
You and I find a reason to disagree we're going to disagree.
I'd take it no more personal than from anyone else.
I don't get too riled over disagreeing when it's simply disagreeing on something and not personal character attacks on others. (Seen elsewhere on a different forum repeatedly enough it gets annoying.)
Besides , the internet postings don't hurt my teeth like a few punches in the past have.
Still short two. And another needs pulled now. About twenty still showing. Figure that out....
No , the internet can't get me punched from here. L.o.l..
And I wouldn't run anyone off ship over my opinion. (Subject to topic and which tooth hurts maybe.)

Oh the list of the displaced ivories
First go was in high school, bottom front 6 flattened by a hockey stick, not a backhander either.
Guy had a slight issue of ownership on a gal, and I said backhand it Tim.
He turned did a world series swing, broke the jaw chin on up.
Went into the surgery the next morning to get it fixed up, hard to talk for 8+ weeks after.

The Queens Cowboy kicked a couple of the lower left molars out-just because I was speeding.

Got 3 on the right side taken out when a guy on PCP took a wrong spin on my skull, after I offered up some shrooms.

Then I lost another front when a drunken Indian attacked in the middle of the night while sleeping with a full 26 oz Pepsi bottle broke also the nose and cheek bone, still have the long scar running out of the right nostril.
Then there's a few scapes with knuckles that produced a loss.
So the ivories are long gone, been a full plate guy for many years, partials since the rough young teens.
