So...I get to pick up my maverick from the boss today....the maverick is an 18 foot flats boat that I had access to for a few years....I had a brutal knock down drag out fight over this boat with a former coworker. I was promised the opportunity to buy it when the boss was ready to get rid of it. This captain tried to snake me on the boat and came and took it from me with no warning.....that was the end for him....he was fired and the boss decided no one would have it and took it out of state.....yesterday they brought the boat back, and gave it to me with the title as a bonus.....I was also relieved of the daily washing of the boats....I was allowed to hire 2 guys to take over these duties and ill focus more on the adventures, fishing, diving, and technical maintenance on the yachts. This little skiff is an integral part of my water detecting.....it allows me access to the offshore sandbars where the tourist gold is, and I can now use it inshore when we hunt for our lost galleon, and it gives me a much larger foot print in the keys, and ill be down island much more....especially with the new magnotometer data from our latest magging efforts !! Im over the top excited to get my war wagon back !! My bosses are also my biggest patrons and they really want me to have the best chance at success in and on the water !! Amazing to think that someone believes in me so much that there willing to give me an expensive skiff with a V6 optimax 150 !! Its at the very least a 15,000$ boat !! Woooo hoooo !! Got to get it today and work on our boat davits !!

IF i ever make it back to the Keys... i will bring my rig... and then it can be a "fleet".

Woooo hoooo....biggest thing as you know WD....Is getting to teach my boy how to run a boat and become a fishing guide !! Looking forward to the great fishing days ahead with my boy....its his boat !!

Talking about treasure & gold recovery shows.Last week they announced Parker has recovered a total of 60 thousand ounces from the very first show up to today,about a 10 year period :) :goldbar::goldbar::goldbar: :headbang:

Eh I'm not worried. Most people that try metal detecting don't have the patience. They think you just find tons of good stuff easy. That's not how it works so they get bored. My brother for instance wanted to try and went out with me got bored after just finding trash then wanted nothing to do with it. Still out here in my area I only have two older guys as competition and some lady that makes me mad because she leaves holes all over the parks she goes to. But like I said most impulse buy with way too high expectations.

I lost some cognitive function in the hospital.
Names and numbers get lost easy, Or just don't get stored to recall.
But bits and pieces of music or songs are still retained for many decades.

Punch in the song title bouquet of flounders is mentioned in ,( Wet Dream ) or just enough key words from a seventies song that had airtime which is right there in the memory bank , and presto.

Don't be frightened. Just how my brain works. Or tries to.







(Mention of a piece of song in another context , triggers it.)
