My avg electric bill is 80. :dontknow:
Well that would be living the dream having those types of bills.
We have a hydro system that is run by some very entitled folks. :BangHead:
I'm not pointing a finger at an employee out on the line maintenance jobs.
It's the big "Nuke" plants that generate the big $$$ paying jobs.
So we had a thing called debt retirement fund paying off their debts which turned into then, line loss, the demand charge, then the rates, rural charge, then the HSTax on top of all that.

Thanks Bill, you've obviously done these events before haven't you. :laughing7:

Companies know they have their staff and dealers as a captive audience for a few days, so they try to pack as much information into the time we have there as possible. Every day from Monday to Thursday from 7am - 10pm is full of training sessions, trade shows and information presentations. I leave my house on Sunday morning at 5am and my flight doesn't get back into Toronto until 12:30am on Friday morning... talk about a long week. :tongue3:
Dave, I remember a gathering in Calgary where we were hosting our short line railway partners. I arrived on a Saturday checked in and we had a group dinner with them. Sunday a fancy train trip with munchies and cocktails up to Banff and again group supper. Monday and Tuesday meetings with the short lines and supper outings. Then 2 days of team meetings and group suppers. Friday they had us booked for a sales course. I phoned the director Friday morning and told her no way jose I'm taking a down day before flying back to Montreal in the afternoon. At some point enough is enough.

You know what Jim, I've been to Vegas at least 12 times for work related trade shows over the past 22 years and I've never been to a Gentleman's Club... in Nevada anyway. :laughing7:

I find to get the best value for your money in Vegas, you have to get away from the strip and eat where the locals eat.
What can I say......but......

That looks like that funny money in Nam.Five dollars would buy anything you could imagine, and then some :laughing7:
That was $5000 us converted into Indonesian Rupia before it devalued. Now it would be worth around $500.00
Current rate is 14,319.2/1 in 1992 it was 1425/1
But it was fun to feel like a multi-millionaire :laughing7:

But the truth of that picture and what it represented was when the teller started to hand hand hthe bundles over to me, I filled the money belt up, the Mrs filled hers. It just kept coming.
I just said to the mrs to give me the small backpack, we threw it all into there.

I started to do the security thought before we left the bank. $5000 US = Common folks were earning $1.00 a day
5000 days ÷ 6 days a week the average person worked = 16 years of hard work = Lets take a cab.
