Merry Christmas Bart
Nothing like getting a great magnet 🧲 for a gift.
I can imagine that your son might enjoy that type of fishing as well.
Best of luck with the kitchen.
There's lots of bridges in your world. :hello2:
Well...thoughtful Santa got my son a matching magnet kit !! That Santa is something !!:headbang::headbang:

Good morning on this beautiful Christmas morning......were sitting around the tree fondling our new gifts !! Its official now....im a magnet fisherman.....I did pretty good with an old speaker magnet. Now I've got a really powerful fancy magnet with all types of accessories !! Should be some good stuff around the bridges down here !!
BB, I've often thought about magnet fishing off bridges. I bet you can stuff your tackle box with plenty of fishing gear. And maybe find a few murder weapons too LOL.

The question I have is, what do you do if you hit something too heavy to lift, like an engine block? Do you lose your magnet?

Oh and Merry Christmas everybody.

Merry Christmas Boatlode

I don't think one would loose the magnet as they all have a maximum lifting capabilities.
So it the magnet is rated for 250 lbs it will just detach at a certain point when a heavier weight is raised.

This should be interesting

Treasure chests!!!! Hopefully. ARRRRGGGGHHHH!!!!

I remember getting up on Christmas morning early also and after Santa we would been given a small amount of cash in our stocking. Did you ask where it went?
The closest fireworks stand and we shot firecrackers till dark. And then Roman candles came out. We shot everything we bought.

John, Have fun cleaning the coins....I tried it many years ago with mixed results.
These look to have next to no detail left so I'm not too worried. I'm just getting the worst stuff off with a tooth pick then soaking in water for a long time then brushing the rest off lightly and will then brush over with olive oil
