THE Random Chat Thread - AKA "The RCT" - No shirt or shoes required - Open 24 / 7

It's a strange thing to walk away from any accident and wonder later about it.

I had done the harvest of Red Hair, met up with an old party room mate that I didn't know was back in town.
I was in for a body stone and tired of smoking so I took an once, made 12 blueberry muffins, go the munchies from smoking, ate 8.

I could hear my name being called over a loud speaker/megaphone, I was crawling out of a cold wet black abyss with no idea why somebody kept yelling my name.
Geez I was feeling wet/cold and I couldn't figure out why.

Then I heard somebody say I'll go get him, splashing, chain rattling, something was banging under me it seemed-man I'm cold.

Then this jerk, then another, I opened my eyes, water was half way up my chest. What the Frig!

Next thing I know I'm on a cold cement floor being rolled, somebody's ripping me off, taking my weed, money, other things out of the pockets.
I couldn't do anything, helpless, man those black boots are shiny.

I heard "What do you want me to do with this?"

Reply: "Put it in there."

I heard the white throne flush......

Next thing I woke up dry, clean white linens, IV stuck in me, I was in the hospital for a tad check over.

It was the RCMP that rescued me-well the tow truck driver dragged me out of the city park duck pond.

The OZ. they flushed had been sitting in water for hours-so they knew it was a lame attempt to charge me.

I later found out that I was so wrinkled up from sitting in that water for so many hours that they felt sorry for me + my LTD ride.

Wow, Pep! I am at a loss for words.

LOL I was thinking of saying, ? pick me! Pick me! ? I was told it?s easy to get diagnosed with PTSD now days. Seriously, I am going to pass this on to our organization. My scuba learning has been put on hold due to my dad and my friend has an issue to clear up.

Boy! You are absolutely correct about the veteran being their own biggest obstacle! I help with the food/meals. Do you know how hard it is to get 100 vets to eat when they all want their buddy to be served first? Geez Louise! I can only imagine what it is like out on a boat fishing and them trying to let each other catch the fish. I know in my husband?s case, he only takes out one vet due to the size of the boat. For several years it was the same vet. He still tries to get my hubby to reel in the fish.

Here is a video about Walleyes for Wounded Heroes that was made in the fall of 2020. In the fall only a handful of vets go out. The fishing was horrible that weekend. I think there were only 5 fish caught all together. Charles Dawson is one of the vets who were invited early on and now also volunteers as our chaplain. He went fishing with my husband that weekend. The blue truck and blue Lund is hubby.

Samuel Deeds is another one that has been involved for a while. He used to be a part of Team Fastrax. They would parachute in on some of the events. He now volunteers for WWH.

Well, by all means, present your case.

I wouldn't want to blemish my sterling reputation here....
But should have most of the stupid driving out of my system by now.
Except when off road. That's when you might want to hold on.
Not finding a decent video of a SuperTrike.
Mine has a little bar wrapped around the front for your feet. A bench seat. And it will try to bounce you off at high speed on bumps...
This vid has a different motor ,seat ,foot rests ...
The guy does not go on anything rough to demonstrate.
He could steer with the rear brakes and pivot real fast to turn.
Ah well. Fun anyways.

WD, and anyone else interested, This is a graph of Diver D ( PTSD from domestic violence and sexual assault,) the last visitor here. Ignore where it plunges to zero for July. The different areas described below are from within the first survey completed.

The slight up tic for June ( except sleep patterns) is caused from going from here back to “ the stresses of your world”

This info is from a survey the sufferer does for an independent mental health professor in Wales UK.

7 out 10 people you meet or run your area IF HONEST would tell you the same stories. heh
If not 9 of 10.
You must have been the "exception". :P
Where ya been Boat ? ? ? under a rock ? ? ?
I guess I must be "the one" then. Never did any of that stuff. Probably has a lot to do with the crowd you run with, and nobody in my social circle used drugs. We were too busy lobster diving and striper fishing. Not to say that we didn't consume a few beers now and then.

I've been around, just drop in now and then like MsBeeps. Right now I'm waiting for the ocean to clear up so I can get wet.

I like to kid around on here with ARC and everyone about the rum.
At the risk of being banned from this thread, I never touch the hard stuff. Two beers and I'm done. Three and I get silly. More than three and I'm asleep.

This southern Baptist pastor originally from Tennessee opens up and tells me that his wife used to be a prostitute and he was her pimp. My jaw dropped. Never saw that coming.
Wow. We're all sinners, and Christ can save anybody. Look at St. Paul. If ever there was an amazing conversion, that was it.

Good to see you back Kev. Please give my regards to Mrs. SADS669.
