I noticed last year and this year lots of wild rabbits have been popping up. Saw 2 on the sidewalk a couple of night ago and then 2 more in a local park in broad daylight.

These are eastern cottontail rabbits which don't change colour in the winter unlike the wild hare which we're used to in my area which changes to white in the winter.

Might be the start of the cycle Bill, or they heard you were planting more carrots this year.:laughing7:

Jim,

Thanks for the chuckles....they're generally south of us looks like climate change is pushing them northward.

Unfortunately due to the brown coat in winter they get heavily predated on during the winter with the snow cover.

iguanas...if you spot any then you know its alittle warm,,,,,there some stuff creeping out of the sawgrass down here that may now be cross dna on predators...????

Found a GT-500 today....But...Black really doesn't do the lines of the car justice , IMO .
The good news... its a local car that showed up at our cars & coffee this morning. Its a 2012 (factory stock)5.4 with only 2.5K miles on it...........

Wow! 2.5K!?!?!? That's a *LOT* of quarter mile draggings!!!! :tongue3:

Morning all.

Hey PepperJ. You sent me to a web site last week with the history of my county. I've been snooping. There was a wealthy farmer named Turner back in the day, about 3mi. from me. With the website, I found the location of his farm. Owned now by a guy named Fulk who unfortunately just passed away. Land now in trust. Harder to find someone to give me permission but I'll keep trying. Here's a drawing of Turners farm from the website and pics of how it looks now. Second pic is directly in front of where house was, looking due south from the road. I walked out there and lots of pottery showing. Looks like they like undecorated white pottery. Also pic of my new detecting wheels. Thanks for the tip!! Gary

Morning Gary
Glad to hear your on the history, hope you obtain the permissions.
Sweet looking side by side.
The Mrs mentioned in one Morning that she wanted one down the road for the property.

Best of the day to you ARC, hope a little fortune falls your way.

Gary one small thing in the artist perception of an estate drawing and the actual topography of the estate.
It seems that the artists of the day always included a hill in behind the structures to give it that certain look.
The homes sat probably on the sat on the rise of the land not part way down.
I have ran into this multiple times over the years on sites.
