My very best dog ever all time was a Wheaton terroir cross lab mutt, named Todd....
I could see a pheasant when driving down the road, clutch, coast, shoot it and Todd would jump out grab bird and be back in pickup before it stopped rolling. I have some funny video of him fighting geese when retrieving them.
I still sometimes forget, or something like, and say load up Todd, when calling my current dog, He’s been gone for over 10 years..
