THE Random Chat Thread - AKA "The RCT" - No shirt or shoes required - Open 24 / 7

I don't know. I haven't figured it out yet. Been too dang busy doing everyone else's bidding for the past 3 weeks (that's when I retired). :BangHead: Today, hopefully, a judge will grant driving privileges back to my son, which will free me up tremendously. I know, I know, just say, "NO, WD!" I just can't. Three little ones make for a lot of appointments. Heading to Lake Erie today to get some peace and quite.

You just retired so you could start writing a honey due list up for the Mr. :laughing7:

Life is good is right. I got out at age 47 in 2001. I consider myself very lucky. Gary

Congrats
I fired this lazy arse at the age of 48
Still haven't had time to read a book......
Retirement: It allows one to do all the things/projects that they thought about while working.......still no time to do anything.......But it keeps things interesting.......never bored.

"hold fast"

Steady as she goes... so long as the wind blows...Through calm glass waters or waves that throws...

Into the suns gleam or under the star beams light... Into the picture perfect scene or the pitch black night.

Be on the ready on your voyages and plights... for as we have seen before... the sea she can bite.

(Written errr typed by me... um... ARC - um.... Now.)

Off... Time to get off my arse.

:P

Well as I plan the day of dirt digging I need to get me arse moving to get it accomplished.
Going to an old permission that has 6/7 sites on the 250 acres and the farmer called up and said the backhoe rear tire fell into another cellar hole. (This was late fall early winter)
I didn't make it over to see what was what as the family wanted me to check it out.
Probably refilled by now as they roped off the area during the annual Xmas tree cutting event.

If so I'll check out the field sites then go visit the tick wood site for a little digging in the garbage dumps.
Going to take a feed bag to pick up some tins, they were in great shape considering the age.
Anyways it's a 100% rain day on my BD tomorrow as it has been for the past few years-like what's that all about, rain on my parade......
Everyone have a great treasure seeking day-no matter what little treasure comes your way-treat it as a little gift.

Yesterday I startled a big Red Tail Hawk beside the house on the slope-took a big Garter snake for a meal.

I'm getting more and more pissed about the DMV. I still can't get scheduled!

I wonder...is there only one place to get scheduled there, in Kentuck!

Is it possible to go to a different branch of the DMV? Another locality? Just a thought. :dontknow:

I called about 15 minutes ago, and was told that I was the 5th one this morning who had the same complaint, and one of dozens over the past week or two. I was told curtly that there was nothing they could do about it, except for wait. I HAVE BEEN WAITING! THREE WEEKS I might add.

I just radioed the Coast Guard that MsBeeps is missing at sea. They are starting a search.

I know you've been waiting RC. I've been watching. What I was trying to refer to is if you're dealing with just one office location and whether there might be another that you might have to travel a bit to get to, as another option. Or does Kentucky force one to *have* only one way/office.that you *have* to use?

I don't understand what exactly you have to "wait" for, afterall, if you were driving and you got a ticket. Would you be able to tell them to wait for the fine? Not bloody likely!

Don't be too harsh on those poor people down at the DMV....

Don't say Montrealers don't know how to host a great meal.

The Joe Beef partners having a feast with Anthony Bourdain in a ice fishing shack....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:
