"*******, come quick!" That's what Mr WD yelled out a couple Saturday mornings ago, as we tried to close up camp. There were three eagles flying around the campground. I didn't get very many pics, and the ones I did get weren't very good. It became quite funny for him. Every time I went into the trailer, the eagles would fly over. Then, when he would call me out, they flew too far away. One time, we were sitting on the deck talking to some campground friends. I waited there for a long time. I finally decided to go in. No kidding, as soon as I went in, one flew up from the field right in front of the trailer!

I took a couple pics of the fall colors the other day. It wasn't supposed to be peak colors yet, but it was for us. The next day we had a lot of wind and most of the leaves blew off. So, I am glad I took the pics.

This was my unwelcomed visitor yesterday morning. They are a pain. Always have to chase them off.

Nice pics WD.
We haven't had the fall of past years. My Sugar Maples I noticed yesterday were not the same color as last season. My pecan trees haven't lost there leaves yet. That's unusual.

Everything seems to be a little late this year. We lost every one of our sugar maples in the tornado. Really stinks! We tapped them last year for the first time. We were looking forward to making syrup again.

and Thank you.

Good morning, rusty. How did yesterday go?

Im thinking my maples are the decorative kind. I have the Florida Sugar maple kind and a few Japanese maples. I dont think mine produce sugar.

Not so well. I saw a bunch of turkeys come in, but I paid no attention to them, until they started walking away. That's when I saw the hen with the 7 inch beard. It is legal to take hens this time of year, but by the time I noticed, she was out of range. Durnit.
