Anyone looking for a job ? We have a bunch of new people who have moved to the lake, And they need some common sense Boat training :BangHead:
1)Today, one new couple thought they would warm up the Engine on their brand new 40k party-boat while it was out of the water LOL
2)And, another couple forgot to turn on the blower on their 50 Ft. cabin cruiser. That one is now on the bottom of the lake.:dontknow:

"I got a house and a car, what can I piss my money away on now? Oh right, a boat"

:BangHead:

:laughing7:

We had some ground chicken in the freezer so decided to make some chicken meatballs. We'll cook them up and serve with a garlicky cream sauce served over a bed of egg noodles.

Took a couple of long in the tooth zucchinis and chopped up onions to saute for veggies.

Off like a bicyclist on a frozen pond with a flat tire.

G night T crew.

Ah , the sights and sounds of Spring!

It was a kind of a day of reflection of sorts.
My mother that passed on a decade this fall would of been a 100 today.
We poured some of her ashes in a creek, that flowed into the lake where she spent 85 yrs of her life. The little creek was where she was born-she could see her birthplace from the front window of her home.
That lake emptied into a smaller river, to a little lake.
It flowed into a larger river, then onto the mighty Fraser to the pacific.

Besides the 5 years she spent during the war doing wiring harnesses for Boeing she lived within short walk from her homes on the same hill for the 85yrs.

Not many folks start and finish up in the same place, it seems we all move on from the first one.

GMorn, the spring storm of ‘21 is on. It’s 32 and wind is howling, the moisture is a cross of water and ice. kinda like Sonics ice. Baby slushy hail and rain. Around 2 inches when I looked around 9 last night. Over 4 in the bucket now. Hurricanes can’t sound much different.
If we all hang on to a Lodgepole, maybe our teepee won’t blow away....I think pirates would say something about tie up the sail before it tips the boat over or breaks the mast? Have nice day
