Gas prices and saving money.
Bought a 1999 Ford Lightning
Spend 48K on truck, another 20K on power.
Result was 435hp/535 torque on the dyno.
$65.00 to fill when I did the upgrades.
10yrs later $135 to fill
300km/200miles to a tank
$50 a burnout( estimated by the Mrs)
Put chip instead of a program in truck result of a 30km in fuel savings.
So at the end I was saving up to $13.50 a tank.
Totally justified in my mind why spending more saved $$$.
Oh I still miss the G force feeling that she gave us on a power take off.
The Mrs was good to 150-160km then the OK! That's fast enough.
After one tune, I had 240km run up going on a merge ramp onto the 401.
Trying to convince someone to part with his baby.

One thing about store bought chickens I've been noticing lately.Their in such a rush to get them to market they don't bleed em out good.I HATE blood in a fully cooked wing or leg
