No joke. We saw some lady walking from the store in shorts yesterday.

WD, I went for a brisk run yesterday in my shorts... didn't think anything of it until now. IMO 25-30º is the perfect temperature for running, if you dress right you will neither get cold nor sweat.

Cardio -stick/snowshovel.. Oh yes.

Had to dig clearance for the golf carts tires three (!) times getting it out of the snow where it is parked to charge it.
It was dragging through the snow so it was time to fish around with the plow to get better clearance.
I ran it to the mailbox , then parked it just out of the way off the side of the driveway till I plowed.
So yesterday I cleared off the plow truck for a half hour and turned the key. yep. No go. I'd had my warning by the electrical sounds of strain through the radio last time I plowed. A now old tradition. I get the one warning before battery dies.
O.K.. Pull old battery and run it to the nearest village where I've bought enough batteries over the years to build a small garage out of , and get another battery. Non AGM type this time..
Install in truck , plow snow. Swiped a bit where the cart is supposed to be parked , then hopped on the cart to move it. Yep. No go...
Long ways to run an extension cord , but I might later and haul the very heavy charger out there somehow.

Lots of shoveling between here and there. Need to clean off three vehicles first. And that means re-shoveling around two of them after pulling the snow off them.

-7 F. predicted for tomorrow morning. I'll have to push some of the dogs to get them outside....After I catch them following a chase for doing a U-turn at the door.

It’s headed your way RTR. We’ve had 11/2 of ice on round one. Round two starts Wednesday evening. More freezing rain and snow. Hovering in the low 20’s and 10 last night. This is purdy rare for us.
And no snow plows.

Hard to believe its been in the 80s here.....I've never been in snow like that !!

If you ever get the chance, be sure to drive your car around in the snow a little- it's always an adventure driving in snow and it can be very exciting. Of course there is always the chance of a wreck, or sliding off the road and getting stuck in the ditch, or just stuck in the middle of the road, or crashing into a tree or building, and street signs are a hazard especially if you try to do what they tell you.

But you will do just fine so long as you take your time and whatever you do, don't try to speed up or slow down or or turn. Stoping the car can be problematic also.

Three vehicles cleared of snow.
The back deck. Front wheelchair ramp. Part of the driveway.
Double digit temps were enough for the golf cart batteries to allow the solenoid to click. And made it up to the house to reach it with the charger I have on a dolly it's so heavy.
A good thing before tonight's sub zero temps arrive...
