Or you could lose them if your mask gets knocked loose and floods. There are so many things that can go wrong diving that you don't need another one.
 

Mornin all.

Up to 1 degree F. here a couple hours after sun up.
And actual sunshine for now...First time in days.
I did seize a snow shovel.
And seized the old dog that gets carried out to the door every couple hours. He's not eating. So I've only got one med in him so far.
Danged dogs barked me awake early this morning. Then didn't want to go out in the cold.
One former grand champion probably still has not relieved himself. A deck board popped and he freaked .

Ahh well.

Yes, just above, and connected to, Captiva. Lots of piratical history in the area. Peace River is fairly close with lots of NS artifacts/points and megalodon teeth and other fossils.

Opportunity abounds for treasure hunting with my job....and if I'm lucky I can get paid to take guests treasure hunting and find treasure at the same time !! Its not all fun and games and alot of hard work and planning go into these missions....but sometimes its the greatest job on the planet !! Woooo hoooo !!

I know someone local (you probably know him) who dove KW harbor and started an extensive collection of ink wells from what he found long ago. He has many, many interesting artifacts from other areas as well.

To the ship in the image- Seems like the bow is fairly "sharp". A sleek schooner or more modern wreck?

Interesting material that might even be able to be laminated together like plywood.
Have to be careful with new products tho because of unintended consequences. Remember FRT (Fire ******ant Plywood)? Codes required it over firewall areas of apartments to help contain fires. The problem was that the chemical treatment caused the fibers to deteriorate and crumble in about 5 years. Big lawsuits to repair the damage.
