THE Random Chat Thread - AKA "The RCT" - No shirt or shoes required - Open 24 / 7

Morning WD, RC, Bill, Rook, and all the crew.

Rum goggles, that must sting!

Yes that AJS looks like a napkin ring from Always Just Steaks, or something like? It looks my sized
There was a 7 min show about that show awhile back on the oak joke. It was about all I could take. The MD guy is only reason I have watched any of it. I never thought about looksee what brand his machine. They had a show about gold in lakeM. How did that work out? I missed hearing the results, so I’ll guess another bunch of nothing.
I just received a 22 air rifle and haven’t even messed with, a single cocking type that the barrel breaks open to also load a pellet. What scope do you use RTR?
I need to go take pics of my knife collection and see how many shields I can separate out. Good day, you are all a real high point in my daily grind.

beeps,

It must be all the compost we use kind of puts our plants on steroids. Not sure but that might be our kale plants we keep harvesting the lower leaves so the plant keeps growing taller throughout the season the plants were about 5' tall by the end of the season.

Bill In your yard pics, the Brussels sprouts (?) under the netting looks like a topiary elephant. :dontknow:

Roger,
We enjoy them also another way we prepare the is to cut them in half lengthwise and steam until about 3/4 done and them finish off in the pan with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar it cuts out the slightly bitter taste.

A 4x12x40 scope. But what ever you get its GOT TO BE designed for airgun not for center-fire or rim-fire ,or it wont last.

Anti, best of luck on your interview. You probably know more about their company than they do.

I love Brussels sprouts. Have to cook them when everyone is out. They complain about the smell. I told them, its all in their head! :laughing7:

Oh my winter and coffee fired speculation!!

Great cross section of eras there.. Yet such a thin context of layer compared to areas with soil/earth below.

IF (again rampant peculation) there is was no glass or metal attached or in the area prior for the shaker top , I can overly imagine a bag of plunder hoping for a silver content. The base discarded prior.

Jack chain.
Lots of uses. It hangs well , but does not like to be stacked or coiled. Or much weight applied to it. Making it a poor choice for a watch chain. But , you show gears from a watch or clock...

It catches my eye from having hammered out a vent pick , and making a horsehair pan brush for a flintlock.
I used wire and needle nosed pliers to make jack chain to hang them.
A straight walled spend brass (.444?)cartridge had a loop soldered into the primer hole and became a powder measure.
