Sorry I missed all the greetings today. Last minute online shopping. Been a frustrating day. I hope you all have a good night. [emoji4]

Have you guys ever driven all the way out to a site, gotten all of your snow stuff on, and set up your machine only to realize your shovels are still at home? That was a first for me. I keep trying to get out and dig but the it seems like the world is against me lol.

On a more positive note, my family and relatives have been asking me what I would like for Christmas... there was hardly anything I could think of but one of the things was a Simplex. I think it's about time for an upgrade from the rusty but trusty ACE 300.

I did too much digging one day with a Swiss army knife....Keeping it from folding closed on a finger took conscientious effort.
And , as much as I am against abusing a knife , I was not going home!
Did have a WW2 shovel in the truck. But it was not a remote fallow site.
Did have a Cop drive near and park and watch the crazy guy stabbing the ground somebody probably called in. He left shortly after I waved at him....

LOL! I checked the trunk to see if I might have left something but all I had was a bunch of old shirts and some shoes... probably not going to be very useful digging tools.

Tire iron ,nope. Hubcap ,nope. Snow scraper, nope. Credit card , nope. Oh look , a stick! L.o.l..

I reached for a fishing rod after getting the boat in a lake one time , after rigging the now ex wife's rod.
Only I didn't have a fishing rod....

This stuffs pretty good, and right up my alley. The Price of a Mile is my favorite so far, but the other two are close.

Why did I post this at near 11:30 at night? I have no idea. :p

LOL! All good stuff! It is exactly why the post linked in my signature came into being. Thanks for the giggles! They're sorely needed nowadays!
