Morning Rook
How are keeping lately?

She looks content that's for sure.
Great news on the accident free day-there's light at the end of the tunnel-or she's using your rubber boot. :laughing7:
Our next visit at the Vets is in Jan. It's been a few year since Max's last one-just needs the rabies shot.

I bet you that one of her shots was for Heart Worm-never been a case in Ontario yet-yet it's always postered up as the one of the evils.
The Parvo is recommended as Max is out in the woods with all the other wild animals and has his noise stuck into every spot that there been "pee mail" dropped off.

Yes, the vet mentioned Parvo and a couple of other vaccinations that we might want to give her, but I opted just for just the 2nd booster shot.
I administered the de-worming med when we got her home from the breeder, but the vet wants me to bring in a sample of her poop to check for heart worm anyway.

Good morning, Antiquarian, ARC, Pepperj and rook.

I have to get my car to th shop for detailing by 7:30. So catch up with you later. [emoji854]

You should of just taken your shoe and sock off, for a sample -"Here Doc check between me toes" :laughing7:

Good morning folks.

Morning Rusty
Is the deer still hanging-or off to the butcher-or already in freezer?

Morning WD
Detailing of auto-that's was a request I made a few years ago-should do it one day though.

Hi Bart
How do handle the big logs?
The size of some the slabs = heavy logs.

My brother inlaw is a general contractor....I often borrow his machinery. Plenty of big machines at my disposal if needed. The one im working on now is a 5000 pounder.....not huge but not small either. When each slab is cut it can often take 5 men to move the big cuts.

Plus.....with him being a contractor, I often get the logs from him clearing lots for building...lately its been stand around and watch the guys deliver us logs. If they don't deliver them to us they have to pay for there disposal. That can be expensive.....pay 2 guys to cut and chip them plus the cost of renting the chipper. So they prefer to bring them to us. Half the work for them and no extra charge. I grease the workers with beer and cash too.....keeps them coming back with big mahogany trees !!
