Hello ARC, RR.:hello:
...was that the sound of the opening rum room hatch I hear?

Beeps,

We're hanging in and playing the hermit game like most folks.

I'm thinking of finding a nice mountain or cave to meditate at....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

I am alive, breathing, and on this side of the soil...last I checked. Thank you Bill.
And how about you & yours?

ARC,

You need one of those houses inside a geodesic dome to keep the temps warm.

We had the fellow that is building similar structures for growing food spoke at our local Horticultural meeting last year. Built a few up in the NWT/Artic for year round growing of vegetables .

On that note... I am off.

Night Tnet crew.

Good morning Jim.
Were you able to work on your fence yesterday or was it all indoor activities?

Morning Dave
No it started to rain pretty good by the time the rooster crowed, so I went to plan B

Got fuel, returned the saw for repair. Got feed, and bedding for the barn.
Went up the road and picked up a wheel of cheese (5 different varieties)
He had another new type so I got some-mustard gouda.
He wasn't happy with the results as he didn't put enough mustard in the cheese." It'll be good in cooking" All about trial and error when trying out new flavours.

So shaved some off the chunk last night with the potato peeler over my hot squash, then added some to the top of my soup.
Gouda is really creamy, so it added just enough taste to both to make an interesting taste.

I made his day when I asked him if he knew of anyone for an earlier kill day for 2 cows Dec.30th.
He lamented his was in the end of Feb, and said there you go-we are doing ours at another place in March.
He was grinning from ear to ear when gave him our 2 spots.

Sounds like you had a good day yesterday Jim.
I still remember that amazing slice of blue cheese you gave me the day we stopped at the country market on our way to detect. :icon_thumright:

Rained here all day yesterday too, yesterday was also the first 'accident-free' day in the house for our puppy.
Took her to the vets for a checkup and her 2nd round of shots. The doc said, "that she's a 7.5lb healthy happy little girl".
She's 3 months old today.

I transported her to the vets in the same storage box that we brought her home from the farm in.
I turned on the seat warmer and she slept on the drive there and back home. :laughing7:

She looks content that's for sure.
Great news on the accident free day-there's light at the end of the tunnel-or she's using your rubber boot. :laughing7:
Our next visit at the Vets is in Jan. It's been a few year since Max's last one-just needs the rabies shot.

I bet you that one of her shots was for Heart Worm-never been a case in Eastern Ontario yet-yet it's always postered up as the one of the evils.
The Parvo is recommended as Max is out in the woods with all the other wild animals and has his noise stuck into every spot that there been "pee mail" dropped off.
